Is this just me or should the call go out on a weekend so people have a chance to actually pick up the phone. I for one can't be at my house phone during M-F, so if its during that time frame, im royally boned.
I, for one (or many), would prefer it being on a Saturday or Sunday.

That's why you should have put down your cell number
Or if you can, forward your home phone to your cell phone. I'm going to be gone the second week in July, so I'll just forward the phone, I'm not letting anything get in the way of my chance at being an Omeganaut.

And how, pray, do I do that? seeing as how I do not know how to use a phone.......
I'm pretty sure it's the same all over, but here it's hitting *72, waiting for the dial tone to stabilize, then dialing the number you want to forward to. That's how we send calls to our answering service at work if we're going to be out of the office.
Edit: Oh, and you dial *73 to un-forward the calls when you are ready.
Are they doing the calls today? Because my cellphone number is limited and i rarely am called on it....woke up around 1 pm this afternoon 8 missed calls...... (201 257 4210) ...??? (309 589 0622)...??? (514 316 1058)...??
And very unpredictable... Typically a classic game, but last year , PAX being held weeks before Halo 3's release, the final round was Halo 3...

Calls did not go out today. I've got my proverbial money on July 7th, but that's just my guess.
Calls will always go out from an unlisted number, so if you see one, pick it up.

it would make some sense that it goes out on Bungie Day, as bungie is going to be there and apparently (according to them), they are an important part of PAX this year. or maybe not.

Bungie Day? what If I declare July 7th to be Qs23 Day. (which would be odd since my b-day is the 12th.)

Good thing I have a mute button on the phone software at work!
"I don't care if you lost all your pictures of your grand daughter after your hard drive crashed! I'm an Omeganaut!"
Heh. Sounds like me at work...just this instead...
"Unfortunately, you cannot purchase the certificate over the phone. .... And he passed away when? ... Oh. That's the day that I found out I'M AN OMEGANAUT!"

So--random thought--for the folks who cannot remember what phone number you placed for your order (like me) to make sure that said phone is near you at all times; here is what I did.
Go back to the PAX main page and click on "Registration" and pretend as if you are registering for tickets once again. However, when you get transfered to the Brown Paper Tickets site, click on home and it will take you to their homepage. Near the middle on the left-hand side, there will be a box where you can ask of the order status. Either enter the last name that the tickets are registered under OR the confirmation order #. One that is done, it will then ask for the last 8 digits of the credit card that you used to charge the tickets to. Once hat is complete, it will bring up the whole confirmation information...including the phone number that you placed it on.
I know. Seriously wordy for something simple...but hey! At least I know to have my Mobile near me at ALL times.

In the end, I don't really see why i am complaining that I probably won't be an Omeganaut, because I get to go to PAX. Thats enough for me really. To hang out with a bunch of cool people and have fun is what your there for.
Couple quick questions:
About what time of day did the previous calls go out?
Do the calls go out to the person who purchased the tickets, or the person the tickets are being sent to? I used my dad's credit card to buy the tickets, but they're addressed to me.

The time of day has been all over the map for previous "Calls to the Omegathon". Last year they went out at 11 am PST, so I would say sometime during regular business hours. 9-5 PST or 12-8 EST. They will call the number that is listed on the brown tickets website. So that would be the number put with the billing info.

I thought DeLorean was time machine enthusiast lingo for a time machine.
That, or DeLorean enthusiast lingo for a DeLorean.

<j0z1e> ummmm, all three? at once?
Technically speaking, Delorean enthusiast lingo for a Delorean would be "DMC-12".
DeLorean = DeLorean
Therefore!
DeLorean = Lingo for time machine
Since I am the head of the Time Machine Enthusiast's Club, I say no.
But going off in Time Machine tangents are fun!
Anywho...since Mr. Oz here had to bring us back to Threaded Reality...
On Monday--if the theorists are correct--it will be a super busy day for me. Keeping an eye on my phone while scanning bajillion documents.
If not this coming-up Monday, then the same thing the following Monday.
I WILL TRAVEL BACK IN TIME AND END YOU.
Or possibly re-rail the thread.
Time travel is awesome like that.
Reminds me of this video:

And I have a good feeling SSBB will be featured in the Omegathon.
Wholeheartedly seconded.

i can't tell if this is flamebaiting or not...hmmm...
I'll bite the bait and see if I catch on fire........ nibble nibble....... IT BURNS!!!!!!!!!
I, for one (or many), would prefer it being on a Saturday or Sunday.

Not so odd. Worked for Washington's birthday.
