One thing I've always wanted to ask you on the off-chance that I could: How often do you guys get permission to do some of the stuff you do? Some of the videos you've done (Off the top of my head, River City Ransom, MYST, and Luigi's Mansion) really seemed to be pushing the legal envelop. If you actually go to these places without permission to do your gags, I must say, you've got balls of steel.
They are actual episodes (the show was originally a public access show) with the game skits intertwined by showing the characters do "tests" with the Mega64.
They are well worth it, although version 2 is FAR superior to version 1.

Does volume 2 follow the same formula?
Is this for an English class?
you guys should be asking to see the Jam Band DS sketch
TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS NOW RIGHT NOW NOedit-W
I think it was Ubisoft? who got them to do an ad for the game.
The resulting video was considered inappropriate for them and they never used it.
However they're not allowed to show it or something for legal reasons - or have it out there
but they showed it during their PAX panel and it's gold - one of their best
fairly long too
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I'm sure it'll see the light of day at some point, but I think right now we're having too much fun showing it at conventions and telling the audience what exactly was deemed inappropriate with it!
Been a fan of your guys' stuff since someone passed me the Tetris video at work years ago. Hilarious skits, and I find myself revisiting the old ones quite often.
Just watched the Marcus video - I think at some point an interview with Peter "Awesome" Moore is in order. :P

Hm. Doesn't sound like what I want to hear. All I was hoping for was if anyone ever got to play endless band mode with dozens of DS playing that game in an orchestra.
Isn't Mega 64 the website with the videos of people dressing up as game characters and bothering people in public?
Not my brand of comedy. Any of you guys ever gotten a black eye?

Of all the Mega64 skits, the one I keep remembering is the Cold Fear ads with Psychotic Gunther. "I will feed you 31 flavors of Gunther pain two scoops at a time" is a quote still used by me and my friends during Live matches.

I want to say I first heard about Mega64 when I was a senior in 2005. I could be wrong. I kept cracking up in the middle of my electronics class because I was watching the Shenmue Videos and as the only person that would get the joke, likely in all of massachusetts, I felt obliged to enjoy the jokes thoroughly.
So, long story short, Thanks Mega64 for the ONLY blemish on my highschool transcript.
Sorry to bump a dead thread, but given some of the comments here earlier, I thought maybe you guys would want to check out our new Assassin's Creed skit- http://www.mega64.com/assassinscreed.htm
It's definitely an old-school Mega64 clip. Hope you like it.

I now have the hiccups. Easily the best video so far.
What was the one where you guys were dressed up as mario and luigi, doing your regular shenanigans, then all of the sudden Shigeru Miyamoto shows up out of the blue? That was fantastic.
Didn't you guys have Shigeru Miyamoto in one of your videos? How did that come together?
Yeah, he was in the SMB skit we did last year. Long story short- I found out he was going to be at GDC the same time we were, so I pitched the skit idea to the conference people and somehow it worked its way up to him, and he thought it sounded funny. It was basically just a lot of phone calls and emails.

Balls. Of. Steel.
In the Shenmue video, the lady at the end that calls security is my mother.
It amused me greatly. That is all.
You mother is on the internet!

It's put together like a public access TV show. There's a story, but it's not exactly emmy material.
It is pretty damn funny though.
There are many others like it, but this one is mine.

Wow, that's crazy! And yeah, she did! To this day, that's still my favorite reaction we ever got. She was really cool.
Dude, we haven't touched the links section in like two years. I don't think we're going to until the new site redesign.
