The next six months are going to be great. I love seeing a Democrat finally schooling a Republican on foreign policy.

I really see those lines as a Mario Kart race... and Hillary is finally spinning off into oblivion. So we can get on with electing a Democratic candidate already and I can watch McCain flounder about.

As your attorney I advise you to drive at top speed and it'll be a Goddamn miracle if we get there before you turn into some kind of wild animal. Are you ready for that? Checking into a Las Vegas hotel under a phony name with the intent to commit capital fraud with a head full of acid? I certainly hope so...

I'm down for trying to come up with who we think would be the best fit, but more as a guessing game than as actually trying to sell it. Obama's savvy enough to make the right choice, if for no reason than the fact he'll have vastly better information.

I think we can all likely discount Clinton, because she's crossed the line in terms of what you can say and still get on the ticket. And maybe it's just lingering bitterness, but I'm not happy about the idea of a Clinton surrogate either, I think this administration is going to need to function like a well oiled machine and internal politicing for the next 8 years isn't worth the boost now.

I wonder if there will be any Clinton water carriers on the Sunday talk show circuit June 1st after the Rules and Bylaws committee make their decision. And if there are, if they'll say anything beyond just repeating 'let's let the last two contests make their voices heard.'

Obama addressed some issues of serious concern not only to the 12,100-member Crow Nation but to many Native American tribes around the country.

I had no idea there were that many Natives still living here.

There are still fairly large populations for some tribes. 250k Navajo, 300+k Cherokee. Of course, unless they run casinos or have favorable mineral rights in their reservation, they are generally dirt poor. It pretty depressing if you read up about some of it. There were diaries on DKos about a Native American women's shelter that they pretty much paid to keep going.

I need to find that page again...

Strong Bad is obviously Barack Obama. Fhqwhgads is clearly John McCain. The Cheet is... uh... John Edwards? David Axelrod?

    Right, right, substantive... uh...

Jim Webb is supposedly going on Letterman tonight. I saw him on Meet the Press and he was pretty clear that he wasn't really down with the VP nod. Wonder what he'll have to say... I won't know, because I'm going to bed, dammit.
