Found it for 27 English pounds (iirc) in Asda at UK release and promptly took it over to the checkout with my jaw sliding across the floor. Not been out of my PS3 since.
Struggling to gather the enthusiasm to finish working on X Dimension though, 17 done but the others I have are starting to irritate me. I needs me some Land of Carnage! Also I find the lack of EU DLC disturbing.
Okay, I'm getting into renaming items far too much, since I'm now coming up with DESCRIPTIONS...
Rekki-maru - Demonic ninja blade, looks a bit tacky
Yoshimitsu - Try not to stab yourself with it
Shoop Da Whoop - Requires charging
Psycho Drive - Found in a dark toilet
Touph Ring - Bought from a store in Reno
Lousy T-Shirt - I visited Item World and all I got was this...
Wall Market Dress - It's NOT the only way, dammit!
GRAND UPPAH - Bare knuckles to rage in the streets
BlitzAce1981 on
PSN ID - BlitzAce1981 FFXIV - Raiden Solitaire (Sargatanas)
What's the latest DLC for Disgaea 3 on PSN? I'm too lazy to find my remote to check.
Um... I think its Gordon, Thursday and Jennifer.
this, plus the competitive multiplayer thing
Oh hey, that's out? Sweet.
That means there's just the final DLC with Baal (recruitable / "impossible" Baal fight) to go, right?
i didnt really follow what japan was getting, so i dunno. i do know that they got a trophy patch though, so presumably thats on the way too. i posted the trophies a couple pages back... theres some next level shit on there. gonna be a real task to get the platinum.

our other editor came up with the "Holy _______, Batman!" motif idea, and I filled in the blank, threw in Badman, and spewed out the subtitle on a whim
not that i should be bragging about something as small as a title, but im pretty pleased with myself/our entire team
t kita - i got accepted to a program to teach english in japan for 1-5 years (my choice), so im gonna take a break from the high-stress game industry for a while and try something new
im still gonna keep in touch with the company and try to pick up freelance work if they need it, but as of august i will no longer be NISA blood

I don't mean to be rude when I ask this, but am honestly curious, what makes it stressful? strict due dates for getting stuff translated, or other things?

it's mostly just a lot of little things. many projects going on at the same time, lots of multitasking and balancing different projects and deadlines, certain projects that felt more like a chore than a pleasure.
it's not that im overwhelmed or things are worse than, say, a lawyer pulling 90 hour weeks or something. but i feel like it's aging me more than id like i guess, and a break would do me good right about now. this stuff is supposed to be fun, yeah? so if that fun is starting to go, maybe take a step back and see if its what i really wanna be doing. then maybe come back to it with renewed vigor, or decide i wanna go in a different direction for good
t varega - thanks, thats exactly what im hoping for a 1-2 year vacation basically
Menses generally don't get groped on the train. generally
And as I understand it, editors like Houk often have to juggle two or three projects at once - and mind that for really big games like say a Final Fantasy or Disgaea title or something of similar size and scope, a single "project" can involve editing a fifty-thousand word, five hundred page script. So yeah, I can understand wanting to take a vacation from that for a bit - never let it be said that the import industry is a low-stress environment.
Also Badman looks awesome but it's on the PSP which breaks my heart.

I would actually have the motivation to pick it up and do a little more grinding here and there.
I am a little bit lazy, you see.
Which just adds 100 more hours into my backlog.
Any tips for someone new to the series?
Or for the DS?
Um... I think its Gordon, Thursday and Jennifer.
The only one I've bothered with is Adell, Rosalin and the Nekomata, but that's cause I loved Disgaea 2.
It's confirmed for the PSP, and a US release as 'Dark Hero Days'.
A DS release? Don't hold your breath, but I guess it's possible.
Still, PS2 games and DS hardware don't seem like a good mix to me.
Disgaea 1 worked out well, in my opinion. I honestly don't care that much about voice acting.
Anyone know how'd sales for the PSP version and the DS version compare?

is throwing Prinnies considered team killing?
Now if a Prinny's explosion kills one of your team members, that might count.
And I think Disgaea PSP outsold Disgaea DS.

I occasionally play with a very, very creative and hard to predict guy who has the most amazing Yoshimitsu I've ever seen.
This made me laugh so hard.
