    This picture amuses me greatly.

Also, is Speed Racer as big in Japan as it was in the US?

    I agree completely. 100%.

But I have great faith in people's stupidity. Mankind can screw ANYTHING up, even things that most people would think are common sense.

    We need Samurai Pizza Cats.

I'd love it if they did fill the Capcom side up with more Mega Man. Axl, in a Shang Tsung-sort of capacity, maybe? Or secret-boss Sigma? Who changes forms in each round, similar to MVC final bosses?

I'm guessing that Roll doesn't play much like her MVC self, though.

Better Mega Man or another Capcom series than more Street Fighter characters. I love Street Fighter, but I always thought it was ridiculous that in a cast of 35 there were 6 Capcom shotos and about 4 SNK characters who played similar to shotos in CvS Pro. Almost a third of CvS Pro's roster played similarly. Hell, I could stretch it and add another two characters to that list but I think you get the point.

Fuck I forgot DMC. Well instead of Nathan, Nero would work for me as well cause his demon arm could substitute easily for the Bionic Arm

I know everyone knew already, but there's an article basically saying this game won't come here.

And supposedly the guy who made Dante doesn't like the idea of him being in other peoples' games or something. CITATION NEEDED.

Huh? What about SMT: Nocturne then?

EDIT: Oh, wait. I forgot that was a trade-off. The character designer behind SMT did the devil forms for DMC3 or something. Nevermind.

Well I'm saying I don't have proof, it just seems to be something mentioned a lot. That he's tired of seeing Dante in other games. If anyone has an interview or something that confirms that, that would be nice.

Possibly. I'll try and find where I heard this from.

In my opinion, though, what's one more fan service character in a game built around fan service? Though I would prefer Gene the Godhand, like somebody said above. But I think that he is probably too much cool for any game to handle.

That, and they'd have to remove some of his most... interesting moves in order to get into a more or less T-rated game. I really don't think that any of us want to see him spanking Roll or punching Amy in the crotch.

All Gene would absolutely need to have are the Shaolin Blast, Dragon Kick, Ball Buster, Yes Man Kablam and Granny Smacker. Every other move is inconsequential and interchangeable compared to those.

This looks SO good. Capcom needs to 1) Find a way to bring it over to the U.S and 2) Port it to the 360/PS3.

Holy fuck, that looks awesome. It makes me feel insanely nostalgic for the days of playing X-Men vs. Street Fighter et al. in the arcade back in the day. I assume that the lack of music is because it isn't complete...?

Capcom should move heaven and Earth to get this thing out in the U.S.. Between this, Street Fighter 4, and Mortal Kombat vs. DC, it's like my inner fourth-grader is getting everything he ever wanted.

In Marvel in could push all the punch buttons at once while blocking an attack to push the attacker away from you. Same thing here, only it has a new look and a sound associated with it.

It's weird that they were able to get such a good mixture of 2d with 3d graphics here, but with Street Fighter IV, not so much.

It's coming for Wii. As running imports with Wii is pretty easy these days (you only need SD-card and Twilight Princess), this shouldn't be issue. And before someone argues that Wii isn't able to run this, arcade game runs on Wii based hardware. Plus game uses only four buttons, so it is perfectly playable with wiimote + nunchuk combo.

I don't believe that Capcom will do one. In addition that PS3 is currently selling 5000 units per week, this game is basically Japanese version of "Hanna Barbera vs. Capcom". It's mainly marketed for children*, and these games have performed abysmally on PS3. But I'm suspecting that Capcom is using this game as a base for Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

    * Game even has cute minigame for each character on Wii version
