    Why is Spider-Man swinging away from giant babes but towards a giant Iron Man?

    I still think out of the 52 covers 43 and 48 are my favorites. I just love them. 43 for being just awesome and 48 for the simplicity and yet being utterly perfect.

    I just saw the book in this ridiculous store that had tons of back issues, I think it was CGC rated a 4 and it was something like 85-90 dollars. I might pick it up someday.

    To be honest the levitating Girder was never going to rank amongst the top echelons of the Flash's rogues gallery

    As long as the girder dresses up in a tux as it's "alter ego" I'll be happy.

    Was this Girder the one that attacked you Miss?

    No he wasn't wearing a tuxedo!

    ...I'd buy it. -.-;

    I wish those 52 covers didn't have all that extra text on them.

    Just the 52 graphic and the week would look so much nicer. Move the barcode and everything else to the back.

    I really did like the art deco style covers for Iron Man: Enter the Mandarin. The story inside wasn't that great but the covers gave off an almost Rocketman feel.

    My only problem with Jae Lee's stuff is that it tends to throw his colorists off- sometimes they end up with these fat, pure black ink shadows on top of a light, water-coloured figure and it just looks... strange.

    that new blade series had incredible covers, but the actual comic was kind of cheesy and mediocre. blade was a huge asshole just for the sake of being a huge asshole. i didn't read all of it, but the issue with him fighting union jack (and not the royal guardsmen dude with the redcoat and the poofy black hat as the cover indicated) was full of it.
    he nailed union jack to the wall, by his arm, with a damn harpoon for crying out loud
    fought him for no reason

    the whole harpoon machine gun hand thing was really dumb too
