So this is about my 3rd time asking for help in H&A and you guys have always been helpful before. Theres a film I need to find the name of but I can only remember some vauge parts of it. It revolves around the main character who is either dieing or has been visited by aliens (I can't remember which). He stays in the middle of a forest (or some remote place anyways). He may or may not gain some minor psychic powers (I remember a part where he senses an earthquake coming, so he, his girl and the kids (not sure if they are just her kids or his too, there may not even have been kids) secure everything in the house, and then the earthquake comes and its a tiny one). The only other part I can remember is where he is having some trouble with rabbits getting into his vegetable patch even though he has a fence all the way down. He eventually figures out that they are living within the fence and can't get out because of the fence.
I know its a bit vague but thats about all I can remember. Its not a new film, more around the time of Close Encounters of the Third Kind (or within say... 10 years either side?)

Easy mistake, the resemblance there is uncanny.
Throw in a shave, some hair gel and a scientology book and even Mrs Travolta would have trouble telling them appart.
