PA/Rainslick 360 Faceplates?

I emailed Gabe a while back about Penny Arcade faceplates for the 360. Anyone else feel like this would be a good idea? I already have a PA theme and Gabe Gamerpic, so why not go all the way and give the 360 itself the PA makeover? It could be a regular G&T design or it could have their New Arcadia counterparts to commemorate the release of Episode One. Share your thoughts!

I am intrigued by your idea. My black elite could use a classy faceplate. All the ones I have seen so far are kind of cheap and lame.

Maybe give my 360 a nice rough seam in front covered in rivets and two, intimidating red eyes on either side of the disc drive?

Having a PA-inspired steampunk 360 would be rather awesome.

Of course I got my copy of the game for PC but we don't have to let that cat out of the bag.

This. It feels a bit classier than other faceplates, but that could very well be because I'm biased as a PA fan.

I'd kill for a faceplate to make my 360 look like Div though. Absolutely positively KILL for it.

I'd love to have a faceplate that somehow incorporates the light ring on the 360 into FF's eye. That way, when the 360 red rings, FF's eye glows red.

Something New Arcadian/SteamPenny (coin a term? Don't mind if I do!) would do me. The logo for the Startling Developments Agency worked in there, some gears/pistons, an effigy of the FF and perhaps an allusion to the Necrowombicon.

and either purchase for $20 the make your own faceplate skin kit, or just download the program for free and print your own from your printer. It's a free option to make your own.

No offense to the original poster but the "faceplate maker" you have is probably one of those cheap kits they sell in stores. Why not pick up some spray paint, make some stencils, and actually MAKE your own faceplate. OXM posted a tutorial on how to do so in one of their issues awhile back.

Yeah, it is. But I got it for free and I've never used it, and what it comes with is a matte grey thing which I'm going to stencil - I'll just post it once I'm done.

I hate most faceplates. Even if someone were to, for whatever odd reason, make a Legend of Zelda face plate for the 360 I'd be like 'meh..maybe'. And this is coming from a girl that, were I to spot someone in a convincing enough link costume, I'd strip down and rape the guy. I just think the plates are kind of chessy.

Penny arcade face plate? I think I'd cream myself. It would be awesome.

With all of these threads begging PA to make stuff to take our money from us, I'm surprised we haven't seen more of a response.

Even a simple plate with the Startling Development logo would be a day one buy for me.

Nah, I'm just yanking your chain. Don't hurt me. Batman is bad ass. That's why, while tights are for sissies in general, he can wear them and not be a sissy for he transends thier negative effects.

And Link now wears light brown leggings if you may have noticed in both Twilight Princess and Smash Brothers Brawl. He got an upgrade.
