So I'm reading a Joystiq article about Jack Thompson and I notice an advert for PAA (itself kinda funny because of the exchange between Thompson and PA). Now I'm not a fancy marketing guru, but I'm tempted to say pulling text for Ads from comments on different sites might not be the way to do it.
I presume it was flash, but I didn't catch the beginning so all thats staring me in the face now is:
If you want to step into the land of crazy; one could take it all as an elaborate joke, seeing as the comment in the ad works well in the context of the Thompson VS PA thing. However I look at it as simply coincidental, and questionable marketing. Most comments will be positive (I hope) but you can't be sure the bad ones won't effect your cash flow.
I'm not sure if you frequent the PA main page that much, but ads similar to this have been running for a while now.
They're supposed to be amusing.

Yeah they're mocking the comments that go along the lines of : "You suck, this game sucks, PA sucks, and I hate everything. Also I don't like food anymore." -Strongsad.
