I think most people here are aware of my feelings towards the people who are constantly poking at ege.
Although this is an improvement over the last thread I saw him in, since we don't have new people coming in and making fun of him just because it's "cool" to pick on ege.

Man if you weren't taken and gas wasn't like $4.15 I'd be all inviting you to dinner and asking you to describe cellular digestion and then drive home as soon as you were done leaving you all confused that that is all I wanted.

Since then I've read posts from him that sounded reasonable, and posts that just sounded douchey. I think part of it is he just has an unfortunate way with words. I think the point he's trying to make in that thread is that having a goal helps you improve yourself, but the way he said it does sound like he just wants to whitewash the inner jerk to fool other people.

all that stuff though, self improvement stuff, is very easy to look at negatively or positively. I don't really think any argument on that topic will change anyone's mind because some people think it's bullshit, and for other people they have used it as a helpful tool and can't imagine that it's anything but. it's actually a strange topic I'm surprised doesn't come up more.

I guess I'm sympathetic to ege because I have a similar experience with "pick-up culture" (which desperately needs a different name, by the way) to his, although I was never as involved with it as he apparently was. As someone who used to be terrible with women, I don't see anything wrong with wanting to learn to attract them, and I read a lot of PUA literature on the subject. Most of it was crass and mysogynistic, but the few things I learned from it helped me to become more confident, and honestly made me a better person, I feel.
But ege made that rape comment two years ago so he must be wrong about everything lolz.
