I would like to get my parachuting certifications for both freefall and static line. how do I go about doing that?

    I don't know that, since I only went skydiving once, but it was a really cool experience. Are you asking this having never done it before, or have you gone skydiving and liked it enough to pursue it? The scariest thing for me was that, when I was right at the edge getting ready to jump, I felt absolutely no fear or trepidation - the ground was so far away that it didn't seem real enough, the way looking down from a ladder makes you a little nervous. It didn't feel like "falling" too much either, until the chute was deployed and we got close enough to the ground to see it come up at us. I don't have a particular urge to do it again, but I wouldn't shy away from it if I was with people who wanted to go, either. I found it... calming.... if that's not completely odd.
