Upbeat California-esque music

I'm trying to find some music that is similiar to the songs "Wave - California", "Phantom Planet - California", and "Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue".

I know the subject matter in all these songs is California but that's not a neccessity, I'm just sort of looking for upbeat, sitting in the summer sun, type of songs if you know what I mean.

So any help is appreciated. Cheers.

    Not sure if they're the genre you're looking for check them out anyway.
    They're about 10 minutes a piece, so give them a chance to get started.

    Look through the related vids, lots of good stuff in there. Sunlounger speaks for itself, and Gabriel & Dresden are practically legends, but might not fit the whole sitting in the sun vibe.

    I'm sure you already know them, but sublime does this kind of music very well.

    And if you like them, check out slightly stoopid, very sublime like, and pretty upbeat.

    An easy way to find more songs like that is to just make a pandora station for one of the songs. Listen, and then you can pretty much buy their song/cds from there as well.
