Ha! The craziness that is the Conan Customer Support is amazing. Wonder if I can last more than a month. If I make it that long I'll send you a tell to hang out. It did make me draw a cartoon about it today. Click the sig if you think it's worth your time.
So how is the PA guilds going anyways, I'm curious about their overall status currently.
I got my Conq added to the Stormrage guild last night (thanks guys!), and for the time I was logged on there was a consistent 10 or so logged on as well. If someone logged off, there was usually someone logging on shortly thereafter. So I'd say pretty healthy so far. I haven't touched my Thog character in awhile so I haven't worked on getting that character into the other guild yet.
To that end, what is the current stance on getting RL buddies into the guild who aren't exactly P-A regulars? I have a friend who reads the comic/forums on occasion, but doesn't post. If there isn't much opposition I'd like to get him into the Broodax guild. He's got MMO experience, played L2 for some years before I talked him into switching to WoW.

Right now there are 22 online in Stormrage. Total character count is over a hundred, though I don't know how many are alts or not playing.
And RL friends are fine. These guilds tend to get more and more disassociated from the forums over time anyway.

Wow so I had my first PvP experience today in Underhalls. My level 15 ToS... a level 14 ranger started shooting at me. I'm sure I could have done something different but he literally just kept shooting regular shots at me, I didn't see him use a combo or any special abilities, and he still completely wooped my ass. I even had time to cast 3 or 4 lightning strikes, a charged blast, heal myself once, and I still didn't even get him below halfway, and I didn't see him drink a potion either. WTF gives?
Installing right now, should be rolling a Barbarian on stormrage in the next hour or so...
Hope you got a book, the patching takes a while as well.
Yeah...this might be two hours...I might as well pop conan the barbarian extended edition into the dvd player. This will get me ready for decapitating bare breasted snake worshipers.

Also, you can scroll through action bars by hitting shift+a number.
So, I made an Assassin tonight. She's the Queen's tits. I'm only at level 9 but I am enjoying it way more than the Tempest of Set. I already have a few combat abilities to use, vs. the ToS only having one.
To the ones that had problems updating their account so they can browse the official forums:
A few days ago, when accessing my AoC account from Funcom.com, I tried to update my forum login, but it would just sort of reset itself and I could just go on and on, entering the same login and password, yet nothing would register. Today I tried doing this again, and the second time I entered the info it stated I already had input my login, and needed to wait for it to be proccessed. I haven't gotten the forums to work yet, but hey, it may be a start. I'm thinking the official forums are a good place to get builds and general tips about the classes we play.
Yup, it worked. Note that I used the exact same login info for my forum account as for my AoC account.

Ok... I'm fed up with waiting for overstock.com... even if I do have a $15 credit... I just can't wait anymore, I purchased two days ago in the early AM and it's still not processed... I need my fix! And it's midnight... uh... I saw someone recommend a CD Key by e-mail service earlier in the thread... or the previous thread... but I can't seem to find it now, and the one I found on google is charging 63 bucks, for the regular game. That's a bit excessive. Does anyone know of a reputable cd-key by e-mail, ship you the box later dealer?

Hey, I can log in now! Earlier today I was wondering if maybe they had some hidden password requirements that I wasn't meeting, so I updated my password to 8 digits, including a number. So either I was right, or they've fixed something recently to let us in. Most likely the latter, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
Yes in fact later on it becomes quite the opposite. We got a few nerfs, but as far as I know our endgame manapool is rediculous, and if you look at our spell list, we got quite the kites and AoE's.
I just got a quest where I have to replace a virgins blood with the blood of a whore. For some reason I can't stop laughing at this.
When she said they needed the blood of a virgin to complete the ritual my first thought was "well lets get rid of all the virgins on the island then :winky:"
I liked some aspects of SWG. Mainly, how the PVP combat itself worked. It was less about who spent hours farming all the proper epic gear by doing the same content over and over. It was more about strategy. Some people had a really awesome custom weapon (like me) but a good player could still own face with normal gear (like me). I also liked the sense of exploration. Knowing the back woods of Dathomir like the back of your hand was a great asset, especially when crafters needed dathorian meat. As a Ranger who knew their crap, I could get more meat in an hour than a fully buffed bounty hunter could in a day. How does AoC compare?
I liked WoWs non-endgame content much better than SWG though. The storyline, and the PVP modes were awesome too. I liked that if you ventured into the wrong parts of the world, you may very well get jumped. Does AoC have this?
I've been goofing off making some alts to level 5 so far. The amazing difference was that my ranger began slaughtering everything in the starting area once i was able to switch out the broken oar to sword/dagger dual weild. I had to log just as i got a bow but it's been fun meleeing so far, much more so than in other MMos.
So while formatting my HD to get a clean install for my new video card and AoC, I managed to forget that I had shifted my MP3 collection to my G drive off of my E drive where it lived for many years. So by habit I formatted the G drive and lost all the MP3s I've been collecting for years.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. COOONAAAAAAAN, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
So, I made a nice little thread where we can discuss Priests. Anyone that plays a priest should post in there and share your priest experience with everyone Here
and no, ofcourse we shan't stop posting in the main thread
All those Conqueror talents I thought were nerfed a few pages back? They all increase with your level.
Frickin' awesome.
That's one thing I really like about Conan, how your spells and abilities all scale somewhat with your level, then get a big jump when you get the next rank. Certainly makes smiting the tooth decayed pictish bastard all the easier.
Well, hopefully tonight I will hit 19 on my HoX. Getting some quests done in Tortage was a pain because of ganking.
But honestly, I kind of like it. A 20 Assassin jumped my 17 HoX and I almost killed him. If I had my cone DD talented to almost insta cast, I think I would have won.

My HoX is too low to do the final part of my destiny quest. I need to go clear out my White Sands and Underhalls quests.

I finished the Underhalls last night, 1/2 way to 19, just need to go to White Sands. And if its too much of a gankfest, I may just grind on mobs in Underhalls.

Underhall gives you so much XP. I got lost in there, murdered everyone, and I ding'd like a motherfucker in there, it was sweet!
White Sands was just fun to explore. Fighting King Kong is always a good time. And the tiger models are some of the best I have seen in a game, just so crisp and clear.

When i was in underhalls there were so many other players running around in every instance i tried, that i literally passed about 4 mobs on my first run through.

Holy shit, that was so awesome.
As soon as your GM gets to 40, and you have at least 24 people in your guild.
On that subject, do alts count towards the 24, or do you need 24 separate accounts in the guild?

Well, I don't know what I was expecting... maybe a whole paragraph about how awsome it was... but you did swear... so I guess I'll take that. :^:

One of the UI mods out there right now. You could look on the official forums section for UI or even this threads OP. Right at the top. Yeah.

Man I don't check the OP every time I come to the thread
Last time I was at the OP there was no such information
There's also an automatic fourth action bar when you hold Alt.
