So my boyfriend is thinking of getting a hybrid...

Most likely the car would be used, and I hear that it might not be worth it to actually get a hybrid. The extra cost of a hybrid car will equal the amount of what you have to pay for in gas anyway. I've also heard that the battery has to be replaced and it costs a huge amount of money around every 5 years.

Does anyone have a hybrid and enjoy it?

    The extra cost thing was true I know, and may still be, because of maintenance and the batteries running out and all. I'd recommend getting a Volkswagen diesel engine Jetta, personally.
