The nice thing about current ret paladin gear is that I'm apparantly geared enough to do t6 content, despite never having done anything above void reaver. ololz
I suppose I could log off in my pve +hit necklace and cloak, but thats alot of effort.
Void Reaver's also the highest boss I've ever killed, and the site's telling me I'm supposed to be halfway through Sunwell by now.

Your gear is much better for PvE than mine is, though, obviously. Especially since I'm rolling with a welfare weapon.
Yeah, but who even forces specs for karazhan? Seriously?
Fucking retards.
Which is my point.
And fair enough DX, it appears that my reading comprehension is diminishing as we approach lunch time.
Also, with that site, keep in mind that the red bar is where you're going to find a ton of upgrades, but the blue bar is where you can probatly fight effectively. We've had people in Sunwell still wearing T4 when we killed Brutallus/Felmyst. (I think most or all of that is gone now that we're at Muru).
Edit, actually, I take back the "fucking retards" comment to one degree; alts and new / undergeared 70's. If you're wearing greens, and you're going to "heal", you damned well better be a healing spec. Unless the group is cool effectively 9-man'ing the place, people should make all efforts to carry their own weight.

Any of you interested in running a 2v2 with my Rogue (Full S2 with some S3)? I think with an S1/S2 geared buddy (even if it's two DPS), I bet we could get to 1800 for the S3 weapons.
I'm basically out of things to do in this game aside from completing dailies and leftover quests on my alts and figured I might as well kick myself in the groin by going back into the Arena scene. I really think with a dedicated 2v2 we would do well though.
So yeah, hit me up if you have appropriate gear and are interested.

Funny. I've done Void Reaver, and I'm supposed to not even be past the Aspect bosses of ZA, apparently!
Wait wait wait.
Is this thing telling me I have misenchanted bracers because I used the cheap enchant, or because I have Stamina?
Because, uh...
If it's the latter...

To reiterate; depending on the composition and gear/skill of your raid group, being undergeared for content is nothing surprising. My raid crew downed 3 Sunwell bosses with a feral druid still wearing some T4 (don't ask why, I have no idea). We get quality apps that are knowledgable, skilled, but poorly geared due to RNG fuckmuppetry or simply a lack of raid experience, and BAM, 4 piece T6 in one week (or one night, if they're damned lucky). It happens, but that doesn't mean that a guideline for where your gear is most suited isn't a good idea.
If you're above that level, then kudos, and hopefully you gear up quickly through it!

so i hit 69 today and i'm still wearing Nightslayer and Bloodfang. I don't even care, i refuse to be all mismatched in greens. All my gear (except neck and waist) is pre BC. My swords are the grandmarshall's swords.
Anywho, i'm going to sit at 69 and beat up on the 69 capped battlegrounds until i have enough honor to buy the full PvP set, then ding 70.
I'm still geared pretty well in the Bgs i play...all things considered.
I am fairly sure that 75k honor (honor cap) is not enough to buy the full set.
I could be wrong, however.
The beauty of the Honor items now is that you don't actually have to be able to wear them before buying them.
ObjectZero, one thing I have heard other people do, is get all the armor and weapons they want, get it enchanted/gemmed how they want and then get close enough to 70 that turning in the PvP daily will level them. Queue up for WSG turn in the Daily, level, rush quickly to train, switch gear and then proceed to dominate the 69 bracket for a few minutes.
Man, that sounds like a fantastically dick move that I'm almost motivated to try.
You get it for one match and then it is over. So while it may be a dick move, it takes a lot of work to duplicate.
Oh, i'm all over this. And, you can Queue for all 3 capped BGs. might get lucky and run 2. maybe....

I did this when I dinged 70.
I had a warrior and shaman who both did the same thing. We all dinged at the same time - trained, and put on all our uber enchanted gear. It wasn't that great compared to other level 70's, but in a 60-69 bracket, season 1 armor and weapons and season 3 offpieces were unbelievably overpowered. We picked up the enemy flag and then took on all 10 of the enemies and killed them all in WSG. After that we just ran around with the flag killing every person we found. I fraps'd the whole thing, it was glorious.

Have you got this video still? Because it is very relevant to my interests.
My raid crew downed 3 Sunwell bosses with a feral druid still wearing some T4 (don't ask why, I have no idea).
2-piece T4 and 4-piece T6 is supposed to be the best Feral DPS setup. I might be mistaken on the 4-piece T6, but those two pieces of Tier 4 are definitely the best DPS they can get in Cat Form, game-wide.

I should specify; by "feral druid" I meant "feral druid tank".
That said, the 2 and 4 piece set bonuses for feral T4 are damned sexy, and I'm so happy I've got 'em on my druid now.

Are you guys sure you're looking at the right bars here?
Hopefully.
And if there were a raid guild around at that level of progression that DIDN'T already have its own in-house paladin with enough seniority to be allowed to be The One Sole Retribution Paladin In The Raid, having those bars would mean something.
All in all, I think the site only just looks at item levels, or something similarly simple, to determine where you get upgrades/where you should do well. Each tier is equivalent in ilvl, more or less, making each bar line up.

That's something that's starting to worry me right now. The guild we merged with already have their token ret paladin. And I don't want to try and take his spot or anything. (because that doesn't seem like a very nice thing for me to do)
Well, that, and I don't want to get into any "We raid 5 nights a week for 6 hours apiece, raid attendance mandatory" kinds of guilds. Which probably means I wouldn't care to go to Sunwell every night even if I do have the gear for it. Visiting it on occasion would be interesting, though.

I do, yeah. When I get some time I'll cut out the unnecessary bits (like running to the trainer and such) and upload it to warcraftmovies or something. I'll post here when it's complete.

I thought you got in to that guild and just had to work on your gear?

No, they said that my application was the best written one they ever received but they ripped apart my gear and in the end the melee class leader said that I wasn't geared enough for their level of progression.
Even at that, I have no way to improve my gear apart from getting about 500 badges, which isn't going to happen since LFG is dead on my server and I can't get into a Kara.
You should come to my server and hurry up and level a warrior and play with me because my guild has like 3-4 Kara groups going and I will shower you with hugs and such and.

I am across that big blue watery thing.... it's like a pond or something.
Mine just shows where I am stuck on my warlock Kara and the two places I will never go with here Gruuls/Mags.
I do find it funny it wants me to enchant my crappy cape, the season one pants and my sub par rings.
It also says I misenchanted my boots with +7 stamina {I am not going to pay someone's fee+mats for +12 or look for the leather worker kits to upgrade them}
I know the trinket I picked up in Zanga I still use I can upgrade to the icon of the sliver crescent but I want that dagger as well only 80+tokens to go
As an MS warrior let me say that I hate you and everyone like you. :x
Ahaha, that MS warrior in full S2 that was wailing on me.
MS. Flash of Light. MS. Flash of Light. MS. Flash of Light.
Could have kept doing that for five minutes, but sadly some friendlies respawned and came and killed him.

I'm an evil, evil person.
Basically, I had grown tired of 19 alliance twinks and their selfrighteous cockiness. Particularly on the Stormrage server. So I made Neverheals. He's a level 10 priest.
He does not have any healing spells on his task bar.
He mostly dances. Ocassionally he will cheer for a horde flagrunner.
My goal is to become the only lvl 10 with a Silverwing Tabard.
And to harrass the twinks.
But something really funny happened in the last wsg I was in.

heh, According to that site I shouldn't be allowed to even run heroics.
The same heroics where some of my gear is from. :P
since then we have tossed zuljin on farm, taken down tk and ssc to 4/6 and 3/4, and are now planning to take on rage winterchill tonight.
Im quite proud of my little guild, since up to a couple months ago we were just a kara group at best and only had the za bear boss on farm.

I went AB'ing with my then prot-pally just for giggles.
Good god, them mages are hapless with my shield sticking out of their teeth.
Yeah, I should remove it as I've vowed not to level any more alts until WotLK.
