but... How... how in the name of all that is holy did you get a flag capture?

sounds like he did what i loooove doing
chased past his own flag carrier as he was under fire, as soon as the flag carrier died he spam clicked where the flag would spawn and managed to pick it up before the other team could return it
Ugh, I just sat around looking for a group for 30 minutes for normal MgT and Mechanar (the daily), and it's impossible to get 5 people together that want to do anything.
I think this server is broken.

Pffft. A conversation last night on Vent:
GL: "Thoma which way are you going with the flag?"
Me: "Middle."
GL: "Seriously, which way are you going."
Me: "Middle."
GL: "Why?"
Me: "300, 400, 225, 150...Isn't Hemo supposed to hit for more then 300?"

oh, im talking about when i'm on my mage
i don't pvp on my paladin anymore...being unkillable loses its novelty when you dont actually need the honor for anything

wait whats so confusing
i enjoy pvping on my mage, i can kill people quite easily (except warlocks), plus I need the honor to buy all the non-set s4 epics
my paladin doesn't need anything. I have the HoJ so I don't need the s2 gavel, I have the Hardened Heart so I don't need the s2 shield, I rarely heal so I don't need the pvp healing gear and in any case I turned in a t5 token for the merciless healing gloves, and have a kickass healing set anyway, so there's very little reason to pvp.

1800 rating can get you the s3 mace and shield. And as a paladin, all resilience does is reduce dots and mana burn so raid gear's no real handicap.
Mages overall are just way better now than they've ever been pre-expansion, more nice changes are on the way (non-dispellable armor, hahaha).
You posting from some bizarro dimension where mages weren't amazing pre-expansion? :P
Anyways, though, hunters are lame.

Mages could do PoM pyro, but I don't recall every thinking "Oh shit, here comes a mage," pre expansion.
Or post, really.

I run into frost mages in AV that are hitting me for 2k damage every 2 seconds. Those are non crits, so my 33% crit reduction does nothing to it. A good frost mages is going to fuck me up like no other class, since I can't even run from them.
In arena, they are even more scary, since they can root me in place, steal my only mobility ability, then hit me for huge amounts while staying out of melee easily.
Pre-BC, mages were hitting for several thousand when 6k was about max hp.
Wait wait wait.
Is this thing telling me I have misenchanted bracers because I used the cheap enchant, or because I have Stamina?
Because, uh...
If it's the latter...
Why do you have stamina on your bracers for PvE?
Because my HP suck, mostly.
Which means its a perfectly correct thing for Be.Imba to say.
Your stamina is not an issue in a PvE environment, where you want to maximise your DPS to the nth degree. And if your HP IS an issue, 12 stamina is not going to make or break it. There are fights where its helpful to have a bit more health than usual. Fathom Lord Karathress' Cataclysm Bolts really hurt if you have low health. Naj'entus, you obviously need at least 8.5k hp to survive the Tidal Wave. But the answer to doing better on those fights is to put on some gear which will enhance your HP, not to enchant your normal gear for stamina.
Be.Imba does not measure PvP ability in any way. If you've enchanted or gemmed anything with PvP in mind, its going to tell you off.
fighting rogues, there is a single variable that determines who will win
If Rogue has Cloak of Shadows up: He wins
If Rogue does not have Cloak of Shadows ready: I win.
I assume you mean on your mage, a T6+ prot paladin could probably go /afk and kill a full S4 rogue.
That would actually be pretty awesome, going afk in AV and coming back to find a priest spamming heals on you and piles of dead rogues at your feet 8-)

yeah, on my mage.
rogues are fairly easy kills on my paladin but as long as they're smart enough to hit me from behind they can sometimes kill me before reflective damage kills them.
I went into Black Morass for the first time a few days ago, and we failed during the 11th 12th and 13th waves. 70 Protection Paladin, 70 Priest, 70 Hunter and then Mage, 68 Balance druid, 68 Shadow Priest.
Am I wrong for thinking that the Paladin could have tanked the Rift Lords and the Trash from Each Rift?
I just did Uldaman on my mage.
That instance is still horrible. x-x
I have enjoyed it the few times I have done it. The last time we had a paladin tanking it, and I gotta say, tanking as a paladin in that place was a lot easier then tanking it as a warrior.

Everytime I tried, I failed.
I just didn't take enough damage to keep my mana up enough to hold aggro on the adds, so I didn't try.

New EU Realm - Blade's Edge
Quote from: Thundgot (Source)
The basics
Realm name: Blade's Edge
Language: English
Realm type: Normal (PvE)
Battlegroup: Ruin
Migration: No
Realm forum: http://forums.wow-europe.com/board.html?forumId=5369079
Today we're opening a new English Normal/PvE realm, named Blade's Edge, in the Ruin Battlegroup. This is a fresh realm, thus no migration will be allowed to the realm during the first months, and the Ahn'Qiraj gates are closed.
The realm will open this afternoon / evening, after 17:00 Paris time (CEST).
Please note that the starting areas may be quite flooded in the beginning, and the population cap is intentionally set a bit lower than normal to not have them even more flooded. The cap will be raised over the coming days as the population spreads out more.
So considering a giving it a shot, I missed the opening of WoW and the opening of TBC (too low level at the time) so this could be pretty fun.
Any Euro's fancy it?
edit: I might finally get to see the AQ gates opening!
Rolled a Dwarf Pally, not decided on whether to level prot or ret yet but totally going to tank at 70.

He was dancing with the other team while his team was killing them?
That just raises further questions!

mage
or hunter
Team 2 nearly always fails, so often you get to tag along with the main raiders. Getting like every common drop for your class

Do you not know how HKs are acquired are something? Anyway, Monkey Ball Warrior you are my hero.
Yeah but Mages can mop up against Hunters.
Go with Mage.
Why?
Teleport.
Also ridiculous crits.
Also no ammo.
Mages overall are just way better now than they've ever been pre-expansion, more nice changes are on the way (non-dispellable armor, hahaha).

its definitely not worth their time though.
We should form a lvl 10 guild.
j/k
Rogues can fuck over ret pallies if they play their cards right. One wrong move and they lose 75% of their health in like 2 seconds, though.
