Burning Steppes (or its twin zone on the other side of Blackrock Mountain whose name I can never remember) always annoys me because of those shitty quests in the Slag Pit or whatever its called.
Yeah, I know all that from just recently moving some characters through 50--I have a recent 64, and my 67 isn't much old. In fact, that may be half of my problem--I've tended to play characters to 40-50, leave them for another, and repeat. The fact that I'm having to see Un'Goro/Felwood for the third time in a very short time span is probably all that's bumming me. And I don't like the Plaguelands, even more than I don't like Un'Goro. Once I hit Winterspring, it's alright, since I know I'm in the home stretch.

Ah yes, that's it. Fuck I can never remember that and I don't know why.
I usually do the Un'goro/Felwood/Winterspring stuff with some trips over to WPL and maybe EPL. I never get around to Burning Steppes and I always make sure to avoid Silithus(except to turn in that one quest to talk to Layo Starstrike and then grab the flightpoint before heading out).
I've got another character I've been dragging through the 50 stretch recently. This time around I've taken a more relaxed attitude towards questing. Same zones but I'm not pushing to finish all the quests in each zone...or even complete all the chains. I've just been doing the ones I feel like doing and avoiding the ones I don't or dropping ones that become a hassle. I've pretty much breezed through the 50s and will prolly get a good chunk of exp into 60 before I'm done.
It's been really nice. No push to be a certain level or get to a certain place.....no worry over maximizing my time/questing at all. Just run around and kill stuff and enjoy the ride.....
Will everyone's DPS just go insane or will they nerf it because having every totem and various other group buffs on every single raid member be too much?
I'd find it hillarious if they did nerf things like totems once they're raid wide.
If it's too powerful, why the fuck would you make them raid wide in the first place?
/facepalm
Elemental focus was basically a 1 point version of clearcasting mages had
then blizz decided to buff it so every crit was a free spell, like pre-nerf illumination
then blizz decided that was too overpowered and nerfed it to 60% mana cost, a nerf that was alongside the illumination nerf
then blizz decided to mess with it again, making it so when you crit you get a 2 charge buff for 2 spells at 40% off
also as a rogue main you should see that they tacked on shadowstep at the last minute and to this day are not sure what to do with it
but I dont see this being too powerful, from the looks of it all aura moves will be raidwide, including healing spells like circle of healing and......tranquility, which the druid changes may make me switch main for wrath cause I am pissed at what they are doing to shaman healers, in that we are getting nothing but spirit link in the expansion in the healing tree, only this healing wave nonsense, alongside the elemental focus change, making that work on heals, will make us like pallys....pallys with chain heal, but nothing buffing that heal from wrath talents at all
Uhhh, shaman healers got tons of shit. Ele focus procs on LHW/HW, LHW/HW get 13% crit just from talents, LHW/HW crits bounce to another target (the target with lowest health in fact) and heal for 60% of what was healed for FREE, LHW/HW get 25% more from +heal, Earth Shield got massively buffed, a cleanse that removes curses, earthliving weapon can proc HoTs on all heals, spirit link is ridiculous, chain heal is already OP as hell. What the fuck are you talking about exactly?
when we're waiting for a bunker to cap in AV, we sometimes wait inside vann's room. and some rogues like to stealth up behind them. so I misdirect to them and multishot and die laughing

Probably because Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge are both pretty much just Generic Volcanic Zone with no redeemable qualities whatsoever. It's just perfectly natural for the mind to try and not remember them.

How would I make a macro that checks to see if my target is friendly/exists, and if not (if the target is an enemy, or if I don't have a target), cast a spell on myself (instead of having a targetting cursor for the recipient?)

Except that they contain the wholely awesome Blackrock Mountain, and the Searing Gorge has the appeal of the massive mining operation in the center of it.

You could make a macro. Better yet, you could instead turn on auto self casting in the interface options.
(If you still want the macro, it'd be something like /cast [exists, nodead, help] My Spell; [target=player] My Spell)
End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us
Silithus is for 58. I got good work here when my shaman alt ran through there, it went much faster than when I took the priest alt straight to HFP at 58. I'm planning on bringing the druid alt here.
My rogue is 51 as well, and I'm having a hard time getting on to him. I believe I've finished up all of Hinterlands now, and now it's time to decide felwood, ungoro, or plague lands. I think I'll do UnGoro, he's a skin/lw and you kill lots of beasties there.

Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.
I've always hated WPL/EPL and Felwood. So I got to Ungoro, finish everything there, and then grab some of the really easy/fast quests from Felwood. Then it's Winterspring till Outland.
I also for some reason really, really, want the storm strike set. I think I have one of the patterns. Need to find where the others drop and farm them, with my warlock if necessary.

The main charm of Felwood, in my experience, is the mageweave & runecloth drops. The furbolgs drop that cloth like they're secretly filming commercials or something...
Good weekend for me. Hit SSO Exalted, bought my 280 Windrider and hit 375 Enchanting. The next goal is to his Exalted Scyers which is only about 2200points away, woot!

Well, the thing is that Chain Heal is really the only thing that shamans have going for them as healers. I agree the new spells and Imp. Earth Shield are really nice, but the stuff that improves HW and LHW aren't really needed or desired. I understand that Blizzard is trying to improve their single target healing utility, but that's not what makes shamans unique or desired as healers.
I know the Sonic Spear is the best pre-raiding hunter melee weapon in the game; but what's the best Tier 4 upgrade? I haven't seen anything nearly as versatile as the spear.
Legacy, but there's no hit rating for some reason.
Stuff
Coming in a day late and having not seen if anyone made any other responses after this, do a week or two of areans and get the S3 hunter axe, or if you can win a lot and get the S4 axes. They're both sexy.
I had a wall of text about what an asshole you are for not seeing my post on the previous page, but you planned ahead.

If that's the armor I'm thinking of, good luck with that. I recall the shoulder pattern dropping off of Thunderaan or something.
nah, I'd say that takes some coordination. don't be stupid, leech.
Paying for 10 accounts a month is $150. That is a lot of money that racks up quickly. Yes he cleared Kara with two computers which is impressive. But having ten accounts seems like a waste of money to me

I can't wait to get to the plaguelands this time around since I'm leveling a Paladin.
May things will actually start dying quickly.
EDIT:: Beated.
They have said nothing about bloodlust but yes all totems are.
Meh, I missed it, but it is there. So yes, currently all totems and bloodlust are raidwide.
