I would, but I think I'd only start a fight. I'm too tired for that right now.

To be honest, I completely ripped it off from the pvp forum. I just want to see how many people will stretch the first amendment to animated kiddie porn, because to me that's a funny fucking discussion.

And Oblivion was awesome. Were the stories you heard about how it was too awesome, and they got like diabetes or something?

Will said he got all his early levels in running, or something, and was basically a very highly leveled athlete that can be killed by squirrels.

There are mods that prevent this, though, yeah, it would have been nice if Bethesda had maybe taken the biggest complaint from Morrowind ("The leveling system is retarded") and done something about it, rather than keep it pretty much exactly the same.

Thats why I never even tried Oblivion.

Their leveling system is so horrid. It makes it so there really only a handful of builds that are practical which kinda takes some of the fun out of the "make your own class" part.

Not really true. I don't use any mods (mainly because I'm too lazy to download and install one) and I use a fairly generic class, just a slight modification of the "Acrobat" class, and I get along just fine. I use training to keep my marksman skill up to the point that I can still kill enemies with one sneak attack, but if I didn't do that I still wouldn't have any trouble.

Once I got used to the leveling system I liked it. To use it well you need to focus your efforts on skills related to only a few attributes at a time. Preferably with a couple of them being done with skills outside your primary skills.

So say you had blade, block and heavy armor in your primary skills. If you're doing mostly combat at the time your level up will probably be from say 6 or 7 increases in blade, probably 1 off heavy armor and the other 2 or three off block. If you make the endurance based increases up to ten (by repairing your stuff and increasing armorer) and maybe increase your hand to hand a couple of levels (to get your strength increases up to 10) all you need to have done is run/jumped enough in the meantime to get 10 increases between athletics and acrobatics. Do that and you have a maxed out level up, +5 strength +5 endurance +5 speed. All while playing through the game.

It's pretty easy to get close to perfect level ups while playing through normaly provided you don't fast travel much and don't use horses much.

Yes, exactly, and in that respect I actually like it. But the fact that enemies get exponentially stronger just because you can jump higher is silly.

It is a bit, but I think it's a tad unreasonable to expect a character who spent a good part of their life just jumping around to not get raped in combat.

Using any of the Spectre weapons is ridiculously easy. Even as an Adept who didn't put more than four points into the pistol skill, I was able to take out most of the Geth on the last mission with two or three shots.

I played a little with biotics, but damn if i don't LOVE the tech stuff. Shield Overload and Sabatoge are fuckign awesome. AI Hacking is also a treat when going up against the Geth.

I've yet to do my 3rd play thru. I'll do that when i'm done 100%ing GTA, i suppose. Speaking of, i think i fucked myself out of an achievement. You have to beat the story missions in 30 hours for one achievement... i'm at 22:45 and my % complete is like 50 (i hear you can finish the story off at 60-70%). So we'll see.

I still need to do a third playthrough - but it'll be with an existing character. Both my first (normal difficulty) and second (hard difficulty) playthroughs were with fresh characters. I think I'll stick with the Vanguard even though I'm not going to get much more powerful since off of one playthrough I'm already up to level 54.

It's not going to happen for a while anyway. I'm playing OtRSPoD, Eternal Sonata and Dead Rising (Rock Band is a constant since there is no way to ever stop playing that).
