That color scheme is WAY better than the original redemption imo.
Edit: @ the 20second HoJs. Remember that they are adding a silence mechanic to that. You're going to go immune to that stun in a hurry, if not flat out resist it. I don't doubt that the CD will remain the same, simply because Paladins are basically getting a silence.

I'm pretty sure DR timer is 15 seconds so you would get full duration every time. Unless. . .it's 15 seconds after the stun ends in which case you would wait an extra second to use it (and you probably wouldn't use it the instant it CDs anyway).

It's not a silence they're adding it's an interrupt, big difference. Also, like UC just said, the diminishing returns timer is only 15 seconds.

I'm more pissed at the fact that they're reusing old skins for upper level gear. They've had plenty of time and money to hire people to come up with new ones. I'm sick of them being lazy about this stuff. For stupid quest reward gear fine. Copy everything for that stuff. But for upper tier content? No, thats not fair.

I imagine their reasoning is that they should keep it the same as the way Naxx gear looked before. Their target is the people who didn't set foot in Naxx when it first came out, so those people never had this gear.

I don't really care, as long as the dungeon sets for lvl 80 dungeons, and raids beyond Naxx look new.

Ya know, you have a point. When you put it that way it would probably be cool if all the gear that dropped was the same thing with new stats.

I just hope new content is new gear.

Yes, that's the same season. The Blue PvP gear is bought with honor, the 1st epic tier req ~1700 rating, the 2nd epic tier is ~2k rating.

Yeah. The idea behind it is that the people who do the best and get those 2k+ ratings get better gear than the people who lose 10 games a week.

You guys are saying the same thing, Mgcw is just basically calling you out on your wording. Since technically all of those variants of PvP gear are available at one time, it technically means it's all from the same season.

In the past, seasons were released individually that's why you have "Season 1", "Season 2" etc, as of now, yes, all three of those are considered one season.

These three sets are Season 5. They already have a Season 6 epic Warlock set's stats available, aswell.

Yes, available all at one time and there will be totally new gear the next season. It's not like they're just giving those 3 sets and calling it good for the whole expansion. Seasons are still "released individually".

Ah, I got ya now. (don't pvp much)

So the next season after this will probably just be new arena gear, and the rest will be pushed down like usual probably?

It probably won't be pushed down at all considering there is already easy gear to get in the blue gear, there's not really a point in making the epic gear from last season easier to get instead of just making another blue set, unless you like the old look I guess.

No he means (I think) that:

    Season1-Blue = honor
    Season1-EpicTier1 = honor + arena
    Season1-EpicTier2 = honor + arena

    will become

    Season1-Blue = gone
    Season1-EpicTier1 = honor
    Season1-EpicTier2 = honor + arena
    Season2-Epic = honor + Arena

Which I assume will be the case. Since Blizzard still thinks Arena's are a good idea, they will probably keep the same system in place for gear updates.

Yeah, I guess, but you could easily just have the same stats with the new look is what I meant.

    like

    Season1-Blue = gone
    Season1-EpicTier1 = Season2-Blue = honor
    Season1-EpicTier2 = Season2-EpicT1 = honor + arena
    Season2-Epic = honor + Arena

That would mean changing previously purple gear into blue gear.

People would not be happy with that, and it's extra work, so I highly doubt they would do it that way.

How is this any different from what happens now? You'd have to get entirely new gear and by then the other people would have better gear.

EDIT: And I didn't mean exact equivalency, I was just using your chart or whatever you'd call it to make myself more clear. The new blue stuff wouldn't be exactly equal to the season 1 epic stuff, it'd be equal to whatever the blue stuff is compared to the t2 epic stuff in S1 in relation to S2.

I assume they are going to introduce entirely new triple sets, MGCW, regardless of whether they keep the same stats.

So that the armor models for each season remain intact.

Also, the Naxx 10 man pally set looks like the tits and also the cat's pajamas

And I would really like to see you cocks make a build that goes 20 into prot without missing out all the cool shit in Ret.

    I am waiting.

Fanaticism is redundant because Judgement of Command is now 100% crit vs stunned/incapped targets. If you mean lvl 70, I understand, but it doesn't really matter because 70 PvP will be extremely retarded regardless.

Beacuse re-colors take so much effort right? It's one new set of armor with 2 different colors. They did it for the first season why not the rest?

Ok, you have Season one tiers 1 2 and 3.

Season two will have it's own look to it, but its tier 1 set will have stats equal to S1T2 and its teir 2 set will have stats equal to S1T3.

Or they might start S2T1 with the stats of S1T3.

So what the fuck are you guys saying, that every time a new season starts, 3 entirely new sets are entering the fray? Yes, they will have the same graphic but different colors I realize that, but even if they get rid of the lowest tier of the original, there are now 5 sets to choose from?

    That makes no sense.

No, that's what I was saying before, there's no reason to lower the reqs on the first season sets, make them unavailable and you just have 3 sets again the next season obtainable in the same way. Upgrades for everyone.
