I'm pretty sure it's meant to sound like "Core" as in "Hardcore" or "Core of the Earth". If this were the 90s, I'm sure they would have spelled it Kore.
So when is this coming out? I'm waiting for impressions.

Haha, well it's just three fucking dollars. OH NOES MY PAYCHECKS. It's not like I'm going to buy every issue or a year subscription. You can buy individual issues, after all. It won't hurt to just check it out.
Besides, it's not all that different from the countless people who sign up for Fileplanet to get exclusive shit, as stupid as that is. I know I did that for the Crysis beta, although for that I had to buy a big subscription. Maybe once it's out later in the day we can actually talk about how it actually is instead of how angry non-PS3 owners are about an e-magazine.

Yeah, I think you need the 13 issue subscription for Calling All Cars, but I'm interested in the SOCOM beta, and it's possible you only need to get this issue for it.

Yes that looks to be the case. A quick scouring of the internet shows other places reporting this as well. Though, there seems to be no clear start date for the beta, but buying Ep 1 of Qore gets you an invite.

I like how people keep describing a singular item when describing the cost of Qore. "Three dollars for a beta?" "Three dollars for a demo?" You know, there's gonna' be more in it than just a SOCOM beta. Exclusive Demos, betas, interviews, videos, mini-games, etc, are suppose to be apart of Qore. There are no specifics of what will exactly be in this issue, but it's more than just a beta invite. I don't mind spending three dollars to find out how Qore will be. I believe there's going to be a six minute exclusive video of The Incredible Hulk, as well.

No way, while I'm not too keen on the whole idea of Quore, I can see myself buying an issue or two for the supplemental beta invites and super-exclusive demos.
While I do believe the demos should all be free, I'm not the kind of guy who will not buy a product out of spite.

Everything else that comes with it is a bonus.
If the SOCOM beta was just sold on the online store, I would buy it. However, I don't think I would buy this issue of Quore without it.
