Can you shoot for people for tresspassing if you put a sign up?
In a similar vein, I wonder if they would put a dog to sleep for attacking a human if said human was trespassing in a yard that had a "Beware of Dog" sign posted.

I don't think so, if the dog was secured and on its property.
But that might vary by location.

What if he replaced your bullets with poop and then you shot poop
In florida you can now shoot anyone who trespasses, no signage required. Also you can shoot someone in the street if you feel your life is in danger, provided you give them one verbal warning that you will shoot them if they don't decist. I'll find the case but someone shot and killed a kid who was threatening him and he was completely exhonerated. It was awsome.

I know you are legally allowed to use reasonable force to protect yourself if someone is inside your house where I'm from. I just want to know, is a pre-emptive strike against some stranger who is inside my house reasonable? Do I have to wait for them to attack me? And how much force is reasonable? If he is carrying a knife, am I allowed to hit him with a baseball bat? If he is carrying a gun, am I allowed to sneak up on him and take him out with same bat? I'd rather not have to wait until [after] I'm shot or stabbed before I defend my girlfriend, myself and my property.

I'm guessing it's like those signs at department stores that say "We reserve the right to check your bags"

This is the only answer
I just wonder if all those signs actually represent anything.
"Stay off my fucking land", for instance
I am pretty sure of this

Do you walk through it if you know the guy in the house thinks he has the right to shoot you? No.
Texas, for instance, it is.
Say "Is it legal to shoot a dude if he's on my land if I posted no trespassing signs?"
if they say "No", fire a gun, then say "How 'bout now?"

"bulletpoop" is evolving into "shitrocket!"
It's a lie
