I, and I am sure the other players of this game, would be appreciative of those who use a RNG method of assigning vote targets to resolve the results of their RNG rolls into actual names? It'd save the bean counters some time...

Yeah, the OP says that 'Everybody has the ability to publically !target someone every day with their item' - but maybe a quick clarification might be wise to request.
Monsters in roguelikes don't trade items to each other. Since the Player Character is dead, nobody can pick up items from corpses, either. When your role says item, what it really means is ability.
Yes, as per the OP, items = powers for this game, and you cannot take other peoples' items.
So really your green vote is just publically announcing your ability target.
