For those on Firefox, I recommend UD Toolbar, which gives a nicer GUI, and the Revive Radar, a Greasemonkey script that tells you where the nearest RP is.

Yeah, this is probably the best plan. Once you're fully kitted out it's a tadge boring.

We should probably make an area our base of ops, and tell everyone to head there once they've made a character. Who's for Gidding's Mall?

Jones Joneson, almost maxed out. I mostly PK and run around ripping survivors into shreds nowadays. Game is waaaaay balanced against survivors. Any concerted zombie movement can rip through cades relatively easily and start munching on BRA!NZ.

Seriously. Killing zombies isn't even a viable strategy since they'll just stand up again for 1AP at max health.

EDIT: I think I'm pking around giddings right now actually. Sorry if I murdered any of you. No hard feelings.

PKing is the only fun thing to do after a while, other than raping a mall with a huge horde and listening to the survivor bitching afterwards.

But PKing. So much fun. The crying. The way the PK hunters take it so seriously. The best thing to do is kill yourself after a PK, then they can never get revenge. I think I might have to play again, I think I maxed about 7 characters.

Most important things:

Find shelter and other survivors

Find a fire axe

Go to town on a few zombies, level up your fire axe and then pistol/shotgun proficiency.

Also healing people is a great way to get XP too.

Free Running is a great skill to have.

Don't forget a description including a trench coat and a scar that cuts through your eyebrow down to your cheek without affecting your eye.

Last time this game was so huge (8/2/05) I'm pretty sure we went through multiple hundred page threads in the span of a week. And then a week later everyone stopped playing.

Well we had pretty much beat the game. Then left to go back to our home planet.

We beat the goons only not really because someone gave us inside information that we already knew. Besides, the first mall that really survied was that one on all of those t-shirts that was seiged in like November.

Fun to check on every now and then, but not a real sense of working together. Dude buys a team, you join the team, you sit there and boost every now and then, repeat.

Edit: Hey, people should start looking for the next big Penny Arcade browser based game. There Ikariam, Wurm, and maybe one more and we'll be good. Not strategy, more rpg like.

Just got a giant massive huge update, there are now pictures and a new interface and cults and stuff that you can join. Also tons of skills.

If enough people wanna get together and make a faction, that would be awesome, but there is no way I'm leading it, no way in hell. I can help people out and stuff though.

I really wish the AH on WoW were accessible via browser. I mean, I've known some people to use the AH as a game on it's own, sort of a PvP stock market game. I'd also love to be able to manage some trades going on from work, earning a few silver or gold here and there while filling prescriptions.

But people oughta figure out what kind of faction it wants to be. Good/Evil/Neutral (I suggest Good or Evil, Neutral is like playing on hard mode).

Soon as y'all figured it out I can set up a stronghold or something somewhere and start teaching people the ins and outs.

edit: lemme clarify. I'm fine teaching people stuff but when it comes to diplomacy and raids and being dependable I tend to make things worse

I remember being really into UD back in '05 and defending Giddings from the zombie hordes. Then I remember when I got trapped outide, died, and stopped playing along with everyone else.
