So for the past while, WoW has been doing weird things on me. Lots of flashing green dots, occasionally flashing textures, today this:

What do you think, is my video card just hosed or what? I had 2x geforce 6800 ultras SLI, been using them since February of 2005. I recently took one of the cards out when I started having problems. It got better for a while, but has gotten progressively worse since. Thoughts?

It's probably just overheating. Try cleaning out the cards thoroughly.

yeah it looks like a classic case of overheating to me; just try to create better air flow in your computer as well as neatening the wires will help as well.

It appears that that may actually have been the case. I think the system was running at about 46C for a good portion of yesterday (case temp). I took the one card out and took both cards apart; both had a considerable amount of dust clogging up the heatsinks. I cleaned them out, put them back in, and left the case open with a house fan blowing into the side. The system has been running around 33C, and I haven't had any graphical issues yet.
