Breakfast on the go

So due to work and school schedule's changing, it looks like I'll be hitting the gym early in the mornings instead of my usual mid afternoons. Right now it looks like I'll be leaving my house around 7:30, then heading for the gym for an hour, then heading to work, or school (in the fall)
So, what are some good breakfasts that I could take? It should be portable, and be able to be kept in my car. Are there small iceboxes that I should buy?

Get some yogurt and a clif bar, odwalla bar, or something similar that's 200-300 calories.

I had good luck with making oatmeal in a paper bowl, eating it in the card, and throwing it away when I got to my destination.

Take a look at "Carnation instant breakfast" shakes. They have a little artificial sweetner in them but taste great and have plenty of protein and carbs while being low on fat.

I like Kashi bars, whatever variety floats your boat. Trail mix with some berries and granola is good, too. And if you can, maybe keep some yogurt at work so can have that when you get there.

I'll second the instant breakfast drinks. I always thought that the pre packaged ones tasted a lot bette than the powdered version.

Drink one of those and eat a granola bar or a piece of fruit and you are set.

That sounds disgusting, why would you do that when you could eat Quaker Oatmeal on the Go? 220 calories delicious and nutritious. Like eating a bowl of oatmeal.

As many hard boiled eggs as you can snarf in one sitting. Eggs are the perfect breakfast food in every way. You can boil a week worth of them on the weekend and grab a few every morning before you go.

Oh, and any time I have bars of something around, it is something that I turn to as a snack.

You have to eat a hell of a lot of eggs for it to have any effect on your blood cholesterol levels. The OP also mentions that the new breakfast requirements are due to a switch in work out times, and any person who is lifting should be consuming at least a few eggs every day.

    More of this please.

The anti-egg agenda really needs to die out. If you're eating one or two a day they're damned good for you, especially hard boiled.

Second the Cliff Bars...IMHO, they're the best of the bar food group...

You can actually just do a protein shake since you'll be working out (well, if you're lifting, might not be a good idea if you're trying to take off weight). Toss in a granola bar if you want some extra complex carbs to go with.

If you're lifting make sure to bring something extra for afterwards. Even if it's just orange juice or something like that.
