    Been dealing with some IRL issues the past few days too, house landscaping stuff =) But I'm trying to keep up as we tend to post a lot in this game. All is well though.

    Sorry for the delays, all. It's been a crazy week.

    Also, remember this: It's easier to update you guys if you actually go out and pursue the NPCs. Hanging back and waiting for them to come to you will take longer.

    Sorry again about the delays. My week should start being less busy as the middle of this week approaches.

    Notes:
    -The dwarf smith will make you guys a +1 weapon of your choice if you complete his quest. It has to be a metal weapon, though.
    -I plan on having the mayor meet with you guys sometime tomorrow. I won't be able to update tomorrow night, so I want you guys to have the opportunity to get some interaction with him. I want to try to have you guys head out against the kobolds by Wednesday night.

    If Kirrim, Erevo, Bjorn, or Gwen want to RP any more with the NPCs they were talking to, you're more than welcome to. I just wanted to get things moving again. So if you have any more to say to the elf, Valthrun, or the old man, post it and we'll edit it back in later.

    Sorry about the inactivity. Had to work closing on Tuesday then open this morning, after I got home I pretty much crashed for a nap that somehow lasted 4 hours.

    Kirrim will be marching in the back off to the left side, keeping an eye out for ambushes and what-not.

    Yeah, 2 from Dexterity and 4 from the Improved Initiative feat. Doesn't help much when you roll a 1 though.

    I'm using firefox 3 on a mac and it's just fine.

    Also: how is our initiative order favoring those with lower dex bonuses. It's whacky as hell. Go go platemail dwarf.

    Encounter 2 is up and ready. Note that since the kobolds had surprise on you guys, they get a surprise round (they get to act, but can only take one action (standard, move, or minor).

    Kirrim is up, then the kobolds, then everyone else in whichever order they post. Kirrim goes again once everyone has posted.

    Just out of curiosity, what sort of DC would I have to roll against to convince them that attacking us might not bein their best interests? I'm assuming that it's probably out of reach barring a natural 20, but I would like to try.

    Rainfall, it'd have to be REALLY good and you'd have to have a really compelling reason for them to not attack you guys. As scary as you guys are, there's someone(thing?) they're more afraid of.

    Law, you could choose to take one of their shields after you kill it, but I don't think you'd still be able to use your greataxe. You could certainly try to punch one of the kobolds, but it'd be less damaging than your axe (d4 instead of d12).

    Sorry for the delay again, all. Been having to work later than usual the past few days. I'll update with the kobolds' actions tomorrow afternoon.

    You know, for supposedly having a ~50% chance to hit them we sure do suck.

    Also we all forgot Seragon's Combat Leader ability that gives everybody +2initiative so long as they can see/hear him, which places Stigandr before the kobolds.
