[D&D 4E - OOC] Keep on the Shadowfell: Electric Noobaloo
Posts
We can handle it, what with our pinpoint accuracy.
Only issue with that is that using the second wind is a standard action (except for dwarves!) while Inspiring Word is only a minor action. But yeah, we're not badly hurt enough to worry about healing just yet.
<ProfMoriarty> oh yeah. one time I PMed a picture of my penis to a forumer, and then I got a PM from Thanatos saying "nice girth"
...that was a nice set of rolls. I'm proud of my Half-Elf heritage!
Nice, very nice. But when you use a Close(or area) attack you roll the damage only once and use the result for all targets hit.
Or don't you? I'm confused.
LS is right. I don't necessarily think there's an "in-universe" reason for why it works that way. Instead, it's more of a KISS (keep it simple, stupid) principle, where you have to roll a lot less dice.
Kirrim is up, then we'll have Stigandr (taking his proper place in the initiative), then the kobolds, then the remaining group.
Oh, I forgot to mention this, but I trained Flaming Sphere instead of Sleep for the day. I figure having a little more guaranteed fire power would be useful.
Do you want to have either Pope or someone else act for you if you haven't posted in ~24 hours so we can keep combat moving, or do you think you'll be down for fairly regular updates?

You know, something helpful like using a Nature check to see if they're REALLY kobolds, or just some mutant goblins.
Kirrim is at 19/24hp.
:winky:
Paladins are amazing.

Everyone has 150xp from last encounter.
Also, maptools is awesome sauce.
EDIT: Two Kobolds dead.
EDIT2: Also, who has the lowest HP at this point, I'll have Bjorn do some hand laying next.

That would be Gwen I think, at 13hp.
Hey pope, what are those green shrub-looking things on the map? Difficult terrain and sight-blocking I assume?
And if I provoke an opportunity attack do you want me to just go ahead and roll it?
Inspiring word lets you spend a healing surge and gain an additional 1d6 hp. So you regain 7(Surge value*)+4(not sure where you added the +1 from)=11 total hp healed.
*Your character sheet lists your surge value as 6 but, as a Dragonborn, it should be 1/4 total hp + con modifier.
Nah, I generally enjoy helping people out. I tend to be a bit of a rules-lawyer at heart but tone it down in more casual cooperative games like this.
@Rainfall: You can only add the bonus damage from warlock's curse once per round. The wyrmpriest is still dead, just slightly less so.
Now I just need Stigandr to go and then Kirrim can shoot somebody again.

Updated my char sheet to reflect.
But the kobolds won't be acting again until the next round and Stigandr hasn't taken a turn yet this round.
I suppose we could do it that way, with the current turn of events I think we probably have this well in hand anyway.
