I've currently got 67 sulfur, so any amount would be good. I'll take the full lot if you can spare it. Just let me know when it's up for trade and I'll grab it. 16 archers isn't going to take that many troops to demolish, but I can build up my fleet with the rest and help out there.
EDIT: Of course, those 125 archers might be a bit harder. But hey, another excuse to build more steam giants!
2100 sulfur headed your way. Also this guy has atleast one more city nearby. Maybe more. His military score in 107556 of which only 11,520 is not in these two towns.
Cheers! Finally I'm heading into more trouble than I can handle! I thought I was going to go this whole game only wanging small-fry who knew better than to retaliate!
Do you want more sulfur? I have about 10000 more units than i can use.
I certainly wouldn't mind it. I've got enough of a gold buffer to account for quite a few troops, especially if they're going to be sent off to their death against a superior army. Feel free to ship over whatever you feel you can spare. Cheers!
I only noticed him after I sent my army out for a walk. I guess I could send my phalanxes but I'd rather wait for a couple of hours. Besides, they are busy trying to test the resolve of AOOC - I wonder if it is intimidating to have one's ports blockaded by steam rams and catapult ships then 2x150 armies hitting your two biggest towns?
I've got >30k sulfur at the moment; I'll put a bit up for sale over on 43:11 for you, Legba, at 16. Grab what you want, and I'll send some more over when I have the ships free.
And if ANYONE else within 10h of 32:24 wants some sulfur, just let me know. All I ask is that you put it to good use.

I just encountered that bug people have been reporting that occurs when two separate fleets arrive to break a blockade.
Originally, there were 25 ramships coming to break my small blockade of 10 ballista ships. Expecting to lose, I let decided to let my ships fight it out to see how well they would do.
Then another fleet arrives.
At this point, I don't know what happens. The opposing ships number increases, but all of a sudden some of his ships jump sides and are listed as my allies. More ships arrive later and also join my side. This suddenly becomes a giant mess and I have no idea what is happening. Turns go by and no ships die on either side. Deciding to try to put an end to this, I tell whatever ships I have left to flee.
Here is the combat report.

Not only did we both win, but two of my ships have survived and are returning home. Be careful about sending multiple fleets to break a blockade.
Aye, it's one thing to be a dickhead on the game (it's just a game, do what you want!), but it's another to take someone's work, steal it, and put your name on it.
And stealing bad work and putting your name on it is just hilarious dumbassery. It's like cheating off of the class slacker.
Oh god, the U_N guy who has been attacking me... he EMPTIED HIS CITY to attack my colony. His city is on the same island as my capital. I TOOK 50K GOLD AND 37 BOATLOADS OF GOODS FROM HIS CITY, and I'm going back for another load.
Damn, his troops are going to return the exact second this combat round finishes (he had 3 units in his city).
Wonder what's going to happen?
Bugger, they added in to the defense. Had to withdraw my attack.
His counter attack. He sent one big wave and two single units, for some reason, and it showed up in the combat log as 2 attacks. Question: does this count as two attacks in regards to the bashing rule? Because if so, he might think he still has 2 chances to attack me and go over the limit...
If he attacks again I'm going to contact a GO. How do I do that? Email or is there an in-game way?
Trying to goad him into attacking again. I'm attacking his alliance mate (who STILL has not built a single unit), and sent a taunting message thanking him for the 37 boatloads of goods.
That is so awesome. 37 boatloads? The mind boggles.
I got 2 pillages of 36 boatloads each... went to bed came back in the morning and saw that my boats and army had returned without the goods.
The guy had 98 phalanx, 52 swordsman, and 25 slingers; it was around 50k military score. I destroyed them all. He now has 5 phalanxes and 135 swordsman at that city. And his warehouse is full again! Two of his other cities have no military though! He's is going to wake up tomorrow in pain!

I remember people posting about a good ratio of cooks per units... wasn't it like 10:1? What about doctors?
The wiki and that Kayi person on the Ikariam boards conflict each other. The wiki says doctors give a percent chance to reduce the chance of being killed. Kayi says its a chance to revive a fallen unit. Maybe he read it wrong?
Anyway, does anyone have a good ratio of doctors to units and/or have a good idea on what effect they have on units in combat?

Well, I can't compare with your attacks on U_N, but 39.000 is a nice amount of gold to pull in. I think I can make much better use of that 1.5M gold than you can, inactive WoW player.
Hmm. Meeting this buy order all at once would require 70 trade ships. Good feeling, that.
I've been wanging this one guy 6 times (maybe a couple of times 7-8 times - can't help myself!) daily for a week or two now, and gone from pulling in 50,000 gold to 15,000 gold per hit. He's the reason I have 50 trade ships now. I love this guy.

I have to assume he asked to join in an attempt to get me to stop. But he's never sent any messages to me and rarely ever builds any defenses, or even blows up his ports, so I just keep coming by for my free resources.
So on the JoyVille front, apparently all 30 of my troops that were out when I said I wanted help were Archers, meaning I have 50 Archers, 80 Swordsmen, 12 Gunsmen and 5 Gyros. Does that seem like enough to account for 121 Archers?
Don't worry about any ships. I've pillaged this guy like 15 times before he built like 60 Archers one day and I left him alone. But he has never build new ships. If you can send out your 4 hour attack sometime in the day tomorrow I'll send out my 2 hour pillage and we will hit together. For this I will send 2 wave of ships on a 1 hour blockade timer at JoyTown opening hopefully all the ships out to allow you to attack it without worrying about the blockade.
Update on their military disposition? I'm ready to disembark.

5 Sword = 3 archer. 1 archer = 1 archer. So thats a decent win. Although I forget what wall he has.
Um...level 16 wall. It takes my troops exactly 2 hours. If you want to coordinate tell me when you'll hit and I'll time my mans right. Also looking at his town, he appears to be burning it to the ground??? It only has a capital a warehouse and a level 1 port left...but lots of gold. Also the quicker we kill those archers and I kill those rams the more gold we'll get since he won't be losing money if we hit him hard.
I'm sending out my first two waves of ships @ JoyTown, but no worries at JoyVille since it doesn't even have a shipyard anymore.

16 wall means you lose.
Err, which town has the archers?
Does having our attacks land at the same time work?
Yes you can join others in battle over a town as long as their are no blockades, which there will be no blockade since his town has no shipyard and no boats.
JoyVille has 121 archers @ 50:22
JoyTown has 64 Ram Ships and 12(?) Archers one island up from JoyVille.

Okay, I'll send crap at JoyVille in a sec and give you the time
I've got 32 swordsmen + misc doctors, rams, etc lined up and ready to go, with more on the backburner, ready to be thrown on the fire. Just let me know when to send them.

Update on their military disposition? I'm ready to disembark.
A wall could tip the balance here I think.
5 Sword = 3 archer. 1 archer = 1 archer. So thats a decent win. Although I forget what wall he has.
I'm sending out my first two waves of ships @ JoyTown, but no worries at JoyVille since it doesn't even have a shipyard anymore.
16 wall means you lose.
Err, which town has the archers?
Does having our attacks land at the same time work?
JoyVille has 121 archers @ 50:22
JoyTown has 64 Ram Ships and 12(?) Archers one island up from JoyVille.
Okay, I'll send crap at JoyVille in a sec and give you the time
