Is vacation mode still permanent? Seems like a pretty lousy design decision... I'd make it accrue over time just like at your job, perhaps with the ability to exchange ambrosia for extra time if you need. Then, once your time runs out you switch to inactive.
What I'm saying is, I want to wang this guy but he's in vacation mode and has been for a couple of weeks.

Urp. Guys, JoyVille's navy is gone. I found this out the hard way when an attack I'd forgotten about actually hit him and... Well, let's say that my 17 Swordsmen and 10 Phalanx weren't as effective as I could have hoped against his 121 Archers.
We need to coordinate an attack against this guy so that we kill off any navy he can muster, then hit him with all our forces seconds after. I'll happily send my 15 Flamethrowers in for an hour's blockade just for that purpose.

I answered with WRONG ANSWER, and sent out 30 Sword, 5 Archer, 10 Slingers, 10 Phalanx. Fun times. I'll be Blocading his ports soon.

Unfortunately most of my army is currently attacking easier targets, also Skarsol sorry about attacking your Navy when it was at JoyVille. They really need to do something about that, Alliance members shouldn't be able to attack each other. I don't know how long Skarsol's blockade is remaining and I can still send ~80 swords now and could send 50 Archers from my capital to both land in 4 hours, but I'd rather wait till tomorrow because I don't want to lose my archers. The swords I don't care about, but the Archers, I do. I think I might time up some attacks from my further away colonies in an attempt to hit him while he isn't online.
Spy reports from just minutes ago say this...Joyous is currently Offline and cannot prepare himself for Attacks!
JoyTown has 3 Ram ships and 4 Archers left aline. But is also currently under blockade from Skarsol.
JoyVille has 0 troops and 0 fleet. Have no clue as to where the 123 Archer force has moved itself too...maybe Isabella? I still haven't send a spy there.
Also: His gold is all gone, making him a much less interesting target, that I sthink I am now going to completely forget about. Sorry guys, I really botched this plan this morning...All because of one fucking ram ship.

For future reference, there is an RTRMF person in vacation mode on the island 43:11, our second big marble island.
Also, TuTonni, after letting me collect 600k+ gold over the last few days, has built a ship and sent it at my capital. My manz are quivering in fear! Only, not. No need for response to him, unless you feel like it. And from the forums he recently applied to TBO.
@Juice: Vacation mode apparently now lasts 37 days, then you go inactive.
If I'm not mistaken, I've now broken into the top 10 NPAXians! Woo me!
And I'm in the top 500 Highscore! Yay again!
Let's organise another raid against some other dood. I'm not really interested in hitting Joyous if we're not going to rake in heavy cash, but the next attack we can (and should) plan in more detail.
Well we could consider a small war against NALEX - the New Alexandrians. They don't have much in the way of cash but they are close to our 2X space so it could be fun. Plus I hate them

Update on Nharrier / Harlem. I've destroyed or am in the process of destroying his secondary force of ships/soldiers. Once this is over I should be ready to launch my main naval force against his. It will be a hard fight as he has 150 or so ships in defence and I have about 170-80 I can use - but I should win it easily unless he is favoured by some bug like last night.
Once that has happened I can then launch an attack against his main land force. This probably would be ready to occur in 6 hours or so I think if anyone wants to throw a few swordsmen in to bolster my forces. Will advise if/when

So.
It seems that there is a new wing of the BRO alliance. BRO10.
It has only two members at the moment.
One of which is on one of my islands.
It is taking a great deal of effort not to attack it in order to spite their alliance description.
I hit someone like 6 1/2 hours away before I went to sleep last night. I wasn't expecting 36 boatloads of loot. Now I don't have any free ships to pillage more for another 3 hours. Bah!
Also someone in the POT alliance is sending 30 guys at me for attacking his friend. 30 Guys @ Devil Dancer which is sitting on 45 swordsmen and 47 archers along with a few support men. I'm going to let his 30 land.

I did that last night as well, but intentionally. The ships took 6.5h to arrive, then I followed up with a full sweep of 5 raids, set to combine into one attack but multi-pillage. Picked up 37 boats of loot and about 300k gold for my effort.
Viscousity/Placer, this is why your sulfur has not yet gone out; I'll send 6k in about an hour and a half. Can you send back whatever you're sending back to Mons Claudinus on 24:22?
Edit: Kalkino, I'm available anytime this afternoon so let me know when and where you need the support. Just make sure the ships are clear when I arrive.
So everyone on 43:11 knows, I've been pillaging that Seivers guy (one of the two non-PA guys on our island) and soon-ish he will be down to just his level 6 trading port and a few ships, but you'll still be able to attack him from over land.
Yay, my first complaint! For easy formating, I've made it readable from top to bottom.

With no military you are an easy target, and I need gold to keep buying trade ships and upgrades for my armies. I wish I could say I won't hit you in the future, and normaly I wouldn't bother for less than 10k gold per hit, but with only 40 minutes turnaround I can get all 6 attacks out of the way and still have time to attack more profitable cities where I would have to do things like assess troop strength, carry out blockades, etc.

Sweet. Have you got an attack going at the moment? I can chuck in about 30-odd Swordsmen if you like.

Eh, I won't tell you how to run your island, but if he is a contributer, I'd leave him alone.
If they have no defenses, I might attack once. If they don't respond in any way (build troops or message me), then I'll keep attacking. If they respond, though, I'll let them be. This way, I get to farm the inactives while they are still making stuff at the full rate, rather than waiting for them to go to half-mode.
Speaking of which, Burtletoy, has the guy on 43:11 responded in any way? I'd say if he is still active and writes us a poem, we leave him alone. He's donated decently to the island.
Edit: The last slot on 43:11 got filled by someone from the RO alliance.
Stupid inactives and their massive wood stockpiles. I've got 70k of the stuff in my capital and I'm not sure what to do with it. Mine is at the point where the cost effectiveness of donations seems questionable, and selling it ties up too many ships. I think I've got about 230k donated to one of my mines already because shifting the useful resources out brings so much wood with it.
Just sent a letter that might be described as slightly threatening to one of my deadbeat islandmates, he is larger than me, but with the kind of intelligence he has shown before, i am not very afraid.
PS: Yes, Darian, this is what the sulfur is going to.
