wouldn't it be easier to just use an erasable marker on your monitor to draw a dot where your no-scope head shots go? or am I way out to lunch on this one?
    It would be easier, yes.

    It just wouldn't be right.

Yeah. Only lame people do this.

I have gotten all 21 of my medic achievements legitimately, during gameplay.

I got somewhere around the low 20's during gameplay (If you called that first month or whatever actual gameplay), and then the rest during PASMO. I wanted that Ubersaw so much I fugged up my stats for it. Do I regret it? Not one bit, those blasted achievements were consuming my life. I was always compelled to play medic, constantly trying to get silly awards for doing silly things to get silly items! Now that I have the ubersaw, I have the freedom to stop playing medic!
    I'm retarded, I know.

Maybe this would help? I found this in my saved posts.

    First, do this net_graph 1

    Then play with the x's
    cl_interp_ratio 1
    cl_interp 0.xxx
    rate 30000

I find trying to match the lerp to the true ping in the netgraph offers the best results in terms of hitbox lag issues. For sniping, I put it about 10-20ms over. Cl_interp 0.035 is 35ms for example. It's also one of the reasons you see people hitting the 100ms mark doing so well, because the options by default are perfect for them.

    It wasn't.

But I do have buttons that can change the sensitivity on the fly, so if I'm playing other classes it is in the 2-3 range.

It's very interesting that there are so many more kills on that first choke point, and so few in comparison on the last one. I suppose because often times people don't make it to the last point, but still...

No map for Well (CTF). I think it would be interesting to see the differences between the CP and CTF versions.

Don't be embarrassed, I know it is low, but I have a massive area to move the mouse around on, and I generally use large sweeping movements to change views quickly, then tiny wrist movements when going for the headshot.

You can use the "zoom_sensitivity_ratio" variable to have a different mouse sensitivity when sniping though, so you don't really need keybinds to change the actual value.

This chart also says the Stalemates on Hydro are negligible. I don't think public stats reflect well on PA servers.

Thats true. Half the time I play pubs on goldrush, at least 1 person is surprised to see the explosion. Like they had no idea it was even there. I remember we got there on the first game when the map was released.

    That was a great day.

I think it counts entire games of Hydro and not sub rounds, meaning that there's no stalemates on Hydro, only unfinished games.

Just played a bit. Started off as Engineer where I was so obscenely horrible it was not even amusing. Well, maybe for my opponents. I got killed about a million times, but slowly started to get the hang of it. I decided to take a break and go for some burninating however. After a bit of warming up (no pun intended) I started to do fairly well. Not awesome or anything, but I unveiled a spy, took down two teleporters (as well as three guards), and got a few ubers (which I hope I used well, thanks... particularly to Firebrand). Overall it was quite a bit of fun, and I think I may finally be getting the hang of the game. At least as a Pyro. Still need to try a few classes (ok, most of them), but I'm not feeling like such a complete newb anymore.

How many of you guys understand the concept of "defense"?

It goes something like this: when you see two engineers, a scout, and a soldier moving past your front lines, you fucking shoot them, instead of letting your engineer try to hold them off the second point by himself.

And when you're ten feet from the point when it's being capped and they don't know you're there, try to stop it, rather than, say, running as far away as possible.

Also, I know I mentioned this before but I guess it went unnoticed, but Job, the "waiting for players" time is screwed up on your server because it only waits for about 4 people to get in before going as normal. So fixing that variable should set it straight. Well, hopefully it would, at least, if there's not something more obscure in the way.

you bring an SMG to a sniper war?

if your close enough to SMG another sniper, which doesn't even happen that often, your close enough to melee. also, with how weak the SMG is and the low amount of ammo, if your good at aiming noscopes you have a good chance of winning.

What's your name ingame, Dark Adonis? Yeah, no complaints here, though I'm not all that great as a medic myself. I do my best to help push but I was a split second late on the uber a few times and lost my target to snipers.

Some good games tonight, cheers guys. Though, did not particularly care to be called various names because I changed back to my original team after waiting for more people to join and even things out again. Go ahead and ask me to change back if you really think it makes a difference, I won't mind, but don't be so immature about it. I come to the PA servers to avoid that crap (thanks Jonxp and Job, by the way!).
