So this movie is out
The Incredible Hulk is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character the Hulk, set for release on June 13, 2008.[3] It is directed by Louis Leterrier and stars Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, William Hurt as her father General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and Tim Roth as the villainous Emil Blonsky, known in the comics as the Abomination. The film follows Banner as he flees the pursuit of General Ross while attempting to find a cure to rid himself of the Hulk. When Blonsky personally volunteers to be injected with Banner's gamma formula to aid Ross in his capture, he becomes an even greater monster, and Banner must accept his inner beast to defeat Blonsky.
Some featurettes on the movie
It's pretty good, in the same league as Iron Man, more cameos than that movie too.
And apparently there are 70 min of deleted scenes that'll be included on the dvd release
Including, according to the director, a scene with Captain America
“There’s a point when Bruce Banner gives up on his quest for the cure and decide to kill himself. So he travels far North and reaches the Arctic Circle. You might have seen bits of it in some of the promos. The result was a very dark and strong scene, which Marvel, me and everyone else’s considered to be too hard to young audiences to take, so we’ve cut it. Having that said, when Bruce arrives at his destination he meets up with Captain America! At some point this week, we will make it available on the internet – but I cannot tell you where or when – and the material will definitely be on the DVD.”
But according to one of the producers...
What was Louis talking about when he said Captain America was in the film?
Hurd: He didn't really mean the character of Captain America, unless there's something that I don't know. It's the serum.
LatinoReview: I felt that there was a presence around the film of Captain America, and not that you actually see him.
Hurd: Exactly.
LatinoReview: Is Captain America in the frozen tundra? Cause on the trailer we see Banner walking on the tundra and I wanted to know if Captain America was in that scene or not?
Hurd: Captain America was not visible in that scene.
Leterrier has also said he'd be up for Hulk 2, and even Avengers
"I'll do another 'Hulk' movie any day of the week. I love it! I love the character, I love the TV show. I love that he's an anti-hero," Leterrier told us exclusively.
"It starts with a great story and great cast. If you like movies, you'll like 'Hulk,'" he added.
When asked how this movie is different from Ang Lee's 2003 big screen version, he said, "It's very different, [but] not because it has to be different because I love Ang's movie. I think Ang's movie is a superb movie and I felt comfortable taking on the task. At first it was really daunting and I was really afraid because Ang is an amazing director. I wanted to do the compliment of what Ang has done so it's faster and more action."
In addition to wanting to direct another "Hulk" film, Leterrier would be up for The Avengers as well.
"I'll direct anything that Marvel puts out. I'm going to be camping out at the Marvel office to direct anything they want," he said.
Interview with Marvel Producers
on future Marvel movies
I don’t want to talk too much about it, because it’s so far off and we are just putting everything together over the summer, but you look at the four films that we had announced and they are four very different movies and that’s why I’m excited about them. None of them can be pigeonholed into any particular category, but you’ve got the sequel to IRON MAN, which we all what that is now, you’ve got a fantasy epic with THOR, you’ve got a period adventure with Cap… then you’ve got the biggest crossover that has ever been and I don’t even know what to call it, but I like how different they all are. That’s one of the reasons we are going in that way and CAP is not going to be an authentic… no one is going to mistake it for a WWII movie, let’s put it that way, but it very much will be as close to that as we have ever done which is really cool.
and
awesome interview with Tim Roth and Louis Leterrier
on Emil Blonsky
Louis Leterrier: But anyway, we together came up with the idea of the soldier on the outside looking in, because we wanted him and it made so much more sense. That’s what made him interesting, like now he’s got a reason to want to transform, to want that, to fall in love with that power and it made total sense, we just had to find the right angle and I found it with him.
Tim Roth: I actually based him on somebody, the idea of him. A friend of mine, who is a socialist, who is in England now and he’s an American guy and he had two passports. He had a French passport for Peruvian reasons and he had an American passport.
When he was nineteen, he became a special ops guy and he went to Vietnam. He was the guy that on his own, they would just drop in the middle of nowhere and he’d wear black pajamas and he’d be off in the mountains doing shit and then at a certain date at a certain time in a certain geographical spot, they would send a rope down from a helicopter, pull him out, and that was it. He got blown up by a grenade and bayoneted, so they hooked him out. He was so obsessed with the war as a kid, he got his French passport and went back in with a documentary crew and then became a cinefile and became a theater director and then came to me a few years later and said to me “Can we go in and do a film in the war?” (Pause, then in a high-pitched voice…) No.
and more cool bits
Tim Roth: It is kind of funny. He [Ed Norton] and William Hurt were very funny, because they have theories and I mean serious theories. William’s son had written a thesis on the HULK. His kid is a really big Hulk fan and so is William, so when he knew that William was going to do this and his dad was going to do this, he wrote this piece.
Louis Leterrier: A hundred page memoir on Ross.
Tim Roth: It was unbelievable and should be published. The two of them, William and Ed could talk until the cows fly in about this stuff, they know this stuff. They really do their stuff.
Louis Leterrier: We did “rehearsals” for three weeks and it was pretty much sitting in with Tim, Liv and I watching William and Edward talking.

surprisingly good, there could've been more of him, as always, but I liked him as much as I did Jeff Bridges in Iron Man
excited? You bet I am.
Jeff Bridges was so good in Iron Man, seriously.
It's out in Aus.
At this point he's probably the only one who adequately can

Because ever since Iron Man came out my local comic shop has been filled with frat boys who have never read a comic in their life and get excited when they see that "this place sells X-Men!", and ugh, oh my god
He's been doing that in my mind for about 6 years.
It is in New Zealand
also I'm already breaking away from the OP, but in case any of you's is interested, Frank Darabont's rejected (by Lucas) script for Indy 4 is currently circulating the internet
What does this mean?
I have to know what this means.

This is how my mind ruined it
Liv Tyler -> Liz Taylor -> Liza Minnelli
Does the Hulk fuck Liza Minnelli?
Awful
Some featurettes
Yes, that was where I went for Iron Man, under more or less the same reasoning.
But you can never tell when a movie with the right chops is going to lose the plot.
Indy 4 was viewed at Reading
Well if naked wet frat boys wanted to crowd the comic shop then that's cool
