Blue filter lens thingy

So I'm trying to recalibrate my television now that I have a Bluray player. I didn't want to shell out $20 for a copy of Digital Video Essentials for a single use, so I Netflix'd it. Except I forgot it probably wouldn't come with the color filters necessary to calibrate the color settings. (They're basically transparent colored plastic sheets, but they need to be the right color or else you'll be setting your TV up wrong.)

What kind of store might I be able to find these sort of filters in? I imagine they must be purchasable somewhere, and that they're pretty cheap, but I really have no idea where I'd start looking.

I submitted an entry to Lego Ideas, and if 10,000 people support me, it'll be turned into an actual Lego set!If you'd like to see and support my submission, follow this link.

A camera store that still carries stuff for film processing (harder to find than you might think) will have a multitude of colored filters.

Like you said though, if you don't get the right blue it's not really gonna work right. However, it's more than likely just primary blue.

Yeah, I know it's just pure blue-blue, so the issue is more finding the general class of things somewhere than in obsessing over the color.

Like I said, go to your phonebook or Google maps and look up camera stores. Ask them if they have blue light filters.

They'll know what you're talking about if you refer to them as gel sheets, and that's your best bet on short notice. They're normally used to adjust the colour of the light thrown by flashes, but you buy them by the sheet. If you ask for a blue filter you'll end up with a glass filter that screws onto a photographic lens that is used primarily in film photography to adjust for really warm light.

...or he'll just get told that no they don't sell blue filters any more while in fact there are blue gel sheets in stock.

If this doesn't work for you, most Pixar movies have calibration tests in them.
