Apologies if this is a redundant question but when you trade in a game at Game do you get cash or just store credit? Also, will they only except the games listed in those PDF's or will they accept others too?

They accept pretty much any game from the formats listed in the pdf, although chances are if they don't list it there u will get next to nothing, like £1/2, you can get cash, but you will get even less (and need to take a load of ID with you iirc)
£1 extra for p&p, I think if you spend over £20 you get free p&p though. There's some good games in the 4 for £20 too (Strangers Wrath, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Alien Hominid, Burnout 3: Takedown to name a few)
Does Red Steel come with a manual? Seeing as I can get £25 for it and stop twisting my elbow so painfully I might go for it, but I can't find a manual, and nor do I remember seeing one.
Over £20 is still a pound postage at gamestation.
Thanks LewieP. I'm avoiding my Wii whilst I hit the backlog of Xbox games I never played. Whilst I really want Sonic and the secret rings (which they seem to be selling for £25) why would I spend the same amount on 4 xbox games:
Chronicals of Riddick (£5 new), Burnout 3 (£8 new), flatout (£2 new) and Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast (£10 new)
Racing wise I only really wanted the awesome outrun but flatout for £2 I thought why not, and my girlfirend loves burnout 1 on the cube, so again why not.
If you go to virgin and have a student discount card, it works on hardware now too. So you can get 10% off, bringing it below £380.
Though I would recommend picking up a "last" gen console you missed and cherry pick all the best titles for a fraction of the price. An Xbox Halo 1 & 2, Fable, PG2, Forza, Psychonauts, Morrowind, Half-life 2, Metal Slug 3, and Pirates for £81 total. (Or 19% of an PS3, or 32% an 360).
haha, this is more or less exactly what i did, but thanks to argos and some cheeky wrangling by myself, got xbox + halo2, pgr, forza and fable+ for £4.

Cheers for the heads up, i was unaware they gave student discount on hardware now. BWiihind the curve is how I am playing this gen until I graduate.

yes, i am a god.
How on Earth did you get that! That's up there will my under £20 DSlite + NSMB just after launch from gamestation
I just don't see the point of 360/PS3 until I have a HDTV. And that aint happening for years. I don't like replaying games that much, so I don't want to "waste" a playthrough of Assassins Creed for example. Thats if there is actually a difference (I'm not sold on HDTV "improvement" yet - but assume I'm missing something).

feel free to steal it (although I reserve the right to bring up that you have done so at any point in the future)
for me, HDTV isn't really worth it yet. Expensive, unless I get a CRT, worse for older/Wii games, I refuse to pay for TV content, so TV broadcasts will be worse quality, and in their current forms, I am not investing in either HD-DVD or Blu-Ray.
That and I am a poor student anyway, Pasta + lidl cider takes up the majority of my budget.

Duuude! Awesome win! But yeah, argos were doing a special deal around christmas, reported in this thread actually (cheers lewiep) for an xbox with those 4 games for just £50. This quickly got bumped back up to £80 as I think it was a mistake. But argos must have seen just how many people wanted this so then it suddenly came back! I was working in Argos over christmas, and bought my cousin a brats doll, only my dippy mate behind the counter gave me a cardboard box with the order number stuck to it WITHOUT CHECKING HOW MANY WERE INSIDE. There were 4, at £20 each.
Argos refunds (at 3 different stores I was going past anyway) =£60 (3 traded in)
£60 - metroid prime hunters = £41 ish
xbox = £50 - £5 employee discount - £41 in vouchers = £4 xbox.
so I COULD have got it free, but I wanted metroid prime hunters so me and my mate could play something other than mario kart (nothing against kart) on our brand new ds lites.
You can also pick this up in store at gamestation for £19.99 - I did, I've put an hour into it. And it's splendid. Considering that Game currently has it's trade in price for ET set at £20 (Well according to the printed guide I picked up in store - so it could have changed), you can't go wrong really.
Also - I think Sonic and the Secret Rings is £25 on-line at gamestation - but it isn't in store. So don't waste a trip.
EDIT: Out of Stock online. Camden store had copies.
I passionatly want to buy it at that price, but whenever I buy from gamestation, I like to make a big order to spread the cost of P&P, and I'm too skint to do so atm...
I know I was meant to buy that item off you but I haven't forgotten, I've just not really sorted it all out. However I did see on another thread that you were going to put it all on eBay, so when you do, do you think you could post about that here? Cos I'd much rather buy something on eBay. Thanks.

2nd Hand Xbox 360 Premiun and gears of war £209
2nd Hand Xbox + Halo = £39.99
2nd Hand PS2 + GTA: SA = £49.99

Plus, they do an Xbox 360 PREMIUM with Gears of War of £209.
EDIT: Doesn't actually say it's a premium. How can we be sure?
I put the 360 in my basket then clicked the link that came up.
However if you were dropping that much money on it - I would check before hand.
Also with the rate a which the 360 seems to die - I recon a warrenty is an investment worth the extra.
