I know I was meant to buy that item off you but I haven't forgotten, I've just not really sorted it all out. However I did see on another thread that you were going to put it all on eBay, so when you do, do you think you could post about that here? Cos I'd much rather buy something on eBay. Thanks.

will do, probably tonnes of stuff all going up in the next week or so.

I'll do what I allways do with ebay listings, PA/G&T get 10% off final price.

Thanks. What is your username on eBay?

Mine is much different from my username here (it's a family account) so if I buy something, I will send you a PM to let you know it's me.

I just intend on putting a link to my items for sale in my sig, so I guess watch this space. Mines a familly account too, I would just expect people to say in an email after winning "I'm from PA" at which point I would just recalulate the total, and ask to be sent a cheque/paypal of that amount, but anyway, this is getting a bit off topic, so...

urgh....I hate talking to customer services...

Anyway, they are currently "conduction an investigation into it" and it is unlikly I will be given promotional gift certificates to make up the full difference between the price I paid and the current price, since the sum is so great, but all customers who had their orders for this cancelled "will get some compensation" altohugh the manager wouldn't give me a figure (despite the fact that the first person I spoke to offered £20)

They should get back to me via email "before the end of the week"

I have this! I got it about a year and a half ago for about this price from argos.
It's Streetfighter 2 championship edition off the mega drive, right down to the PAL letterboxing. It also has ghouls and ghosts on it, which is just as bollock hard as I remember.
12 Fighters, no fei long cammy t-hawk or dee jay, you can turn special moves off individually, which is nice if you like a challenge (e honda without hundred hand slap? useless!). Theres championship mode (standard sf2 moves and speed) turbo mode (better speed, more moves) and of course the multiplayer modes.

    In short I love it.

Oh, it can take dc input, but it doesnt come with an adaptor. Instead it can take 4 aa batterys. It lasted a good 10 hours (non consecutive) on it the first time i tried it, didn't really time it after that.

Don't pause it for more than a few minutes though, if the screen goes darker that means it's crashed.

but yes, well worth a purchase at that price!

I saw Xbox 360 Premiums, with 2 free games and an extra wireless controller in HMV yesterday for £249.99.

The 2 games were not restricted, and could include any title, eg Gears or Vegas.

Dunno if its a one off deal or a countrywide promotion.

The HMV was the one in the Trafford Centre.

in my sig, there is a link to a site, if you register there, and make a few posts, I get 10 points. Every person gets 1 point for posting in a thread too.

ATM the winner has 47 points, so if enough people refer me I could win! please help me out.

it's not exactly a bargain, but gameplay have the Halo 3 LE up for pre-order now (£70) if anyone's interested. Play.com are listing it as coming soon, so i'm waiting to be notified when they've got it in stock. If it works out cheaper than gameplay's, i might switch my order (i still disagree with the £5 next-day postage, if play can do the same thing).

    Bought'd.

    So hard.

I passionatly want to buy it at that price, but whenever I buy from gamestation, I like to make a big order to spread the cost of P&P, and I'm too skint to do so atm...

From a page or so back, but I thought I'd mention that I got an "out of stock" email today, so my order has been cancelled. Sucks.

Worth a try, with previous amazon missprices, I have had one honoured price, saving me £60 on an external hard drive, and 2nd time I have been offered £20 gift certificate to make up for it.

with the difference this small, (£30) I can see them maybe honouring it, but then again, Halo 3 legendary edition is the kind of item they will definately sell out of at full price, so theres more certain loss of revenue...

    Good luck!

Mine isn't anything specific, but if anyone here is likely to be buying something from Apple anytime soon clicking educational discount on the right is a gauranteed 8%+ off anything there, though you only get the option of slow shipping this way.

Only proof they need is the name and town of a college, so feel free to use Truro College, Truro if you can't think of one.
