The only thing that worries me about getting Mass Effect, is that for some reason Play Asia stopped shipping the Asian version of Halo 3 to the EU, and did the same with PGR4. Not the more expensive US versions though. And all other 360 games seem unaffected.

    think gamestation did a deal for premium 360 +anygame +forza2/wireless controller for £280 :/

Yeah but they'd only cancelled after the initial pre-ordererererers got their games. Kind of a get in quick thing going there.

Also, I shoule mention that Viva Pinata, a Microsoft Published title is not region free so MAss Effect might not be too........ basically, what I'm saying is, I don't have a fucking clue.

    £20 off.

But yeah, assuming you are interested in both those games it is the best deal about, in fact even if you aren't, it is still a great deal. Considering that the cheapest you can get a premium on it's own for £195, that is basically £25 extra for two games and a wireless controller, I am sure if you dislike both games you could ebay them for a fair amount.

Still, 360 is rockin it hardcore. Halo 3 online ftw!

I can kind of understand why, and it is in the terms and conditions in the agreement I accepted, still a bit of a bummer though. A recuced rate would be more acceptable, since right now sending £195+ business their way earns me nothings, but sending £5 worth of business their way earns me a little...

Eurogamer gave Rockstar Table Tennis an 8/10 saying :
Table Tennis Wii is the ideal alternative to Wii Sports. It's a highly enjoyable, well-designed game with simple appeal and real depth. It's the game the Wii's been waiting for - well, one of them, at least.

It retails at £30, but I'll bite if I can get it for £20. But the best I've found is play/amazon at £25. Still seems a good deal.

Lave II, I wouldn't personally say Rockstar Table Tennis was worth £25, hang back till you can pick it up for £20 or less, especially with some MORE awesome Wii games coming out (Zack and Wiki, Mario)

Cheers, it was an impulse idea - but on reflection, I can't afford Guitar Hero III, Metroid, Mario and Zak and Wiki this hols, let alone Super Paper Mario and Trauma Centre. So it was a terrible idea.

Have got Galaxy on preorder thanks to LewieP at £26.50 though, that really helps things. GHIII and Z&W will be my other choices this xmas I think - the rest will have to wait.

depends how long you expect it'll be before you get a 360, but the price isn't likely to come below £21 for easily a year (except in special circumstances, like the one you apparently have there).

I pre-ordered the limited edition of Gears of War, knowing i'd be getting a console before it came out, so it's hopefully not completely insane to do.

it's hardly a bargain, but i was just browsing upcoming pre-orders, and saw Game listing some kind of exclusive on the Assassin's Creed LE, even though it didn't look much different to the one listed on Gameplay. Anyone know what's going on? It's one i'm going to wait for reviews anyway, since i'm fairly confident it'll be good, but have a nagging doubt.
Then there's the Mass Effect LE which i'm seriously considering dropping the money for.

My wife recently discovered XBL Arcade... Now I have to get another XBox for myself as she's glued to the thing :(

I have a stack of crap: 2 PSP's + ~8 games, ~10 XB360 games, ~5 DVD box sets, Guitar Hero 2 + Guitar to trade in toward either an Elite or Premium .. But where should I take em to get the best deal ?
CEX, Blockbuster, Game and Gamestation are close(ish)

I know Ebay the _best_ option... but im horribly inpatient and need a new Xbox this weekend or early next week.

    Cheers.

there's the 360 Arcade coming out for around £200, if that helps any

obviously doesn't help you raise the money, but if the games bundled with it are ones she wants, then that'll be a decent start. No hard-drive though.

Thanks, I read it only comes with a 256MB card rather than HDD... she's gonna want GB of games... and (knowing her) not having to faff around with re-downloading stuff..

My main goal (cash permitting) was to get an Elite for the HDMI... but is it actualy worth the extra over the Premium.?

Ok UK types - I am reasonably knew to this fine country and I'd like some advice on who/where I can buy a good gaming laptop - budget 500-800. I'd rather buy a desktop but I don't think I'll be in this country for more than a year or two, so that is off the agenda, it has to be mobile.

If your looking for cheap computer stuff over here you will no doubt come across a manufacturer called ACER... don’t buy any of their shit... I got an ACER laptop and monitor .. the laptop went back 8 times due to overheating and destroying it self (& the DVD rom died immediately after the warranty ran out) and the monitor had to go back to have its board replaced.. which took 3 - 4 weeks.

They knock out seemingly well specced kit but the build quality is utter shit.
