Happy Friday the 13th!

Stupidly enough I only believe in good luck, and I'm feeling good today. Actually better than most days (and I'm already a pretty damn possitive person).

I woke up and went to the gym with my fiance before work, grabbed coffee, had yogurt for breakfast, my body feels great, I'm hitting Mongolian for lunch with my dad, I am all caught up at the office, I am wearing my favorite t-shirt, it is sunny and supposed to hit 70' (that's a big deal for Alaska, the first time it hits 70' each summer), and tonight I am having Waffles, fresh fruit and Reindeer Sausage for dinner, playing VS system with my buddies, then going and watching the Incredible Hulk.

My day is going spectacular. How's your day?

I locked my laptop in my office desk last night (I usually take it home).

This morning, the key broke off in the lock and the laptop (with the last 3 works of work on it) is stuck.

After two days of hard work and running around and lots of luck, I got my cap and gown and the tickets to the graduation ceremony.

Oh, more positive sugar to add to my Friday the 13th happy parade. I got the new weezer album (I'm a big fan of it) and so thats playing in my office right now. That's pretty awesome. The day at work is not busy at all, so thats awesome too. And I just found out my buddies want to play illuminati tomorrow night. Excellent.

More updates on the day... Going fantasticly! Now listening to Sheryl Crowe's Globe Sessions (amazing album) and am considering how to alter around my Warbound - planet hulk VS deck.

2.5 more hours of work left to go, man I love working for the state. 7.5 hour days are tops!

I hate Fridays. Work drags, and it's the end of the week, so all of our builders are flipping their shit regarding inspections and whatnot. Also I have to pick up a friend from the airport, drive him 25 miles to his house with no A/C (in Vegas), and then drive 25 miles back home.

My throat is finally feeling mostly-better after a week of not being able to eat anything solid without feeling like there was a tiny, tiny war being fought over control of my tonsils. In said war, everyone is armed with knives and lemon juice. I might write something today, or maybe watch Two Towers extended edition. Or both. It is a decent day. And cooler than the past few, which is nice.

The price of gas isn't the issue. It's driving around in the middle of June, in Vegas, with no A/C.

I know, I just wanted to know. Its kind of funny that Alaska produces so much oil, and yet our gas is more expensive than yours. I know why, what with it being mostly refined out of state, but still, kind of funny.

Update on my continuing great day. Went to Fred Meyers on my 15 min break and bought a nice summer dress for the lady. Bright blue and polka dots, with some nice room for cleavage, growl. Also picked up cilantro for salad, and corn was super cheap so picked up some of that to grill up tomorrow.

I thought Lady in the Water was decent. I was meh about The Village.

Was it good? I wouldn't go that far. The two main actors were just weird with their acting, but I guess that is how the couple in the movie are (from what I get from it). I still think their performances were bleh. As for the movie being scary, there were like one or two cheap scares. It wasn't the worst movie ever, but it could've been a lot better. The ending scenes were just boring and I didn't care for them. Out of all of Night's movies, I would probably rank this last.

I didn't think it was too bad, though not outstandingly good. The male lead's acting was poor and the ending let the start of the film down.

Interestingly, statistically the 13th is most likely to fall on a Friday due to our calenders.
