Basically I'm looking for a device that can broadcast a video signal for a very short distance, like to an adjacent room so no need for long unsightly wires is required. I don't want HD signals, just a simple coaxial/composite broadcast device. I used to see things like this at Radio Shack but I don't remember how much they cost or their proper name, and I definitely didn't know if they worked very well.
I've only ever worked with a few of them, but the ones I've worked with were very bad quality (and not cheap), more designed for like low resolution b&w security camera stuff, rather than anything more audio/video intensive. Unfortunately I don't recall the brands of the ones I have used.

I like that the IR repeater is built-in, I wish more people could vouch for it, though.
It certainly worked as advertised, not something I'd want as a permenant solution, though. It was the first version, so maybe has gotten better.
