    I'm running a similar hardware setup to yours, vista 64 as well. I found that to get it to run the first time, I had to force it to run with administrator privileges (right click on the program or a shortcut, click 'run as administrator'). After that initial run I could just start it up normally.

    No clue if that'll help you out, but worth a shot if you haven't tried already.

    Thanks I'll try that right away. I feel silly for not thinking about the admin privileges before this.
