Calling all PROD. Your services are needed in creating a cinematic work of genious. It is unknown at this time how many people are required, but you are needed in coordinating various events which are to be synchronized with other players to create dramatic effect. Other people may be needed as extras and space is limited. Apply now. (message me or Tremor on XBL)

If it involves the PROD, it won't be genius or cinematic.

    Hey.

    No, u.

I've been having the same problem lately myself too. I had a few good games this afternoon, but it seems like most people have forgotten about it.

It will only get worse Tuesday.

    Alas, poor Chromehounds...

I'm finding that heavy gunners are far worse than the homing missles or piles. At least when the majority of the enemy team are playing as them.
They do insane damage at all ranges, are impossible to fight at close range due to the knockback effect of the hits, not to mention they don't even have to really aim because of the splash.
Basically you have to snipe them, or just soak up massive damage as your team tries to kill them by attrition.
Could probally be easily fixed by forcing the shells to travel a certain distance before arming. Making people use them at medium/long range as designed.

But yeah, I'm getting alittle bored of the game as well, tired of running into entire teams using nothing but the double barreled heavy cannons.

Just use rifles. At least with HGs they have to aim at you. With heat seekers they just have to be facing in your general direction.

Klyka and I are still playing just as much as we were. We are still getting games vs real people with relatively little trouble. I think a lot of people on these boards just got burned out from playing so much over a short period of time. I play a couple of games 3-4 days a week but only have 30-40 hours logged. Most of PROD by contrast had that logged in the first week.

I didn't say nobody is playing. I said it had a steep climb and a sharp fall. You can't tell me you can compare the number of people playing now to when it first came out less then a month ago. I

I think I did burn myself out on it.

I was playing like 7-8 hours a day for the first two weeks or so. Too much of a good thing doesn't work out in the end I guess.

Hopefully I don't pull that with Dead Rising next.

those pile driver whores yesterday were SO funny!

imagine three pile driver scouts and one of them goes for me a slow ass defender. and he even barely makes it next to me and he shoots the piles....and all he hits is my radiator, which is destroyed. OH NOES,NOT ONE OF MY RADIATORS. *purge with flaming death*
and after that, they left the game. they got bad rep. they deserve it.

Yes, we achieved Legend status Saturday night. We were playing some 2v2,3v3, and 4v4. We would have had 6 if yall stopped playing the DR demo for 5 minutes.

I plan on playing this until it destroys my xbox, hur hur. So, P.R.O.D. will live on.

Still playing, still having fun in Vindication. Usually 2-6 people every night 10-12 EDT.

Yesterday started rough for us and ended out fine. Lost too many matches in the beginning, just some stupid mistakes by us, not knowing maps, having the wrong setups to match up with what the other players brought. Turned it around later and schooled some people. Ended up being 2-3 wins from next rank. Was good fun.

I just keep building, if I see something that kills me, I build one and use it to find out it's strengths and weaknesses. A lot of players are using the inverse heavy gunner setups. It's pretty powerful if they get height on you and you try to go after them. So dont. Sucker them into coming down from the height or just wasting ammo. If you can get along side and plaster the generator, you'll kill them fast. Carrying that much weight on an inverse means using a really wimpy light generator. Alternatively, yes you can snipe them somewhat, but again, better off trying to flank and sniping the generator if you can. The inverse legs allow them to dodge sniper fire with some effectiveness and they seem to be using the morskoj 6600 durability cockpit for the most part.

One point last night we faced 2 heavys, a rocket soldier and a pile scout. The heavy planted at the top of a valley/hill so we couldn't advance north. All of us showed our face to him and he tried to shell at us tooling around in the base of the valley while we played dodgey dodgey. They got frustrated and tried to send in the pile scout and rocketboy to our west flank, saw it on commander NA, had one guy continue to bait the heavy while the 3 of us went and blew up the pile scout and rocket guy before they even got in range to use anything. No commander, they were going on visual and though the heavy had us all pinned down. Bzzzt. Wrong.

Heavy ran out of ammo, backed off and self destructed. The guy who had played bait had his weapons blown off from splash so had him and 1 other just go for COMBAS while I and one other went to see if we could kill the last heavy. Tricked the last heavy into jumping off a cliff to get me, but he killed both of us with a mere 2 seconds left in the match. However, it was too late, we had every COMBAS on the map by that point.

Vindication has an open spot, and a decent showing of 4-6 people everynight around 10-12 EST as Sinjis said above. Although, I'm not sure how much Dead Rising is going to effect the group.

I am very much looking forward to Dead Rising, and without a doubt, will be playing it a lot. I am still very much enjoying Chromehounds though, and will still be playing it off and on regardless of DR; especially since DR has no multiplayer . .

And as far as Vinidication participation goes, I have never been online in CH by myself the whole time. Either there are already people there when I log on, or people show up shortly after I log on. It has never been a problem to get a 4 player game going, and 6 player games are usually quite easy to get going as well. It would be nice if we could switch to Tarakia at some point though, as I haven't played for them yet and would like to shop through their weapons . . .
