While I agree that Guitar Hero is a shoe-in for the Omegathon, we're not sure yet that it will be one of the chosen games. Right? Or did I miss something?

Need Guitar Hero for the Omegathon
It's needed for the Omegathon(probably), but you should also just get it.

I've played it at Game crazy a few times on easy.. and passed it the first time i played so apparently i'm a "natural" but now i need guitar hero skillz
I've been waiting for them to update today because I wanted to see what the games are, and they finally updated... But no Omegathon info Aww, Kyle is sad...
My fingers are sore from practicing Guitar Hero. I think that will be an awesome event just to watch. A bunch of Omeganauts up on stage rockin out . My theory on games is:
Round 1: Diceland
Round 2: Double Dash
Round 3: Unreal Tournament / Wolfenstien
Round 4: Guitar Hero
Round 5: Tetris DS / Lumines
Round 6: Uhhh...dont really kn ow but frogger seems to come to mind every time I think of it.
Thats just what Ive guessed by where each round is being held and the past. I could be totally wrong though lol.

Neither was Katamari, but then again this is the final round. Frog Bog maybe? Kung Fu? Mario Bros?(Not Super Mario, just Mario Bros)Hell, a dream come true and they do Wii Sports? :P

The first video game tournament we did for our radio show, there was this greasy stoner kid who came to play and he's all "oh man, it's all about Halo" and I told him "well, you don't know yet" because each round of our tournament was a different surprise game. He replied, "man, you can't have a video game tournament without Halo". I chuckled to myself when he got smoked hardcore in the first round at Dr. Mario.
Im just worried about diceland....Ive never been a tabletop gamer...and everyones said its just about luck. If I can get to the Guitar Hero Round, Ill be happy. Thats like any guitar hero players dream to be on a stage rocking out on it lol.

Haha damn, I would rock some Dr. Mario. That used to be the game I played for 45 minutes a day on lunch when I was a copier setup tech (and yes, that job sux0rd hard).
I'm down with the "Rock Paper Scizzors" match. That could be entertaining. Maybe we could follow that up with Tic Tac Toe and Connect 4. Now we're talking some serious gaming! 8o)
And Eugene is the Meth capital of the world. Well, this whole area really is where it is made, so yeah you can tag it to Springfield/Elmira/Veneta as it is more rural there. My dad works in the police department here (not an officer, works in the office), and meth busts are incredibly common here. Not just using/carrying/selling, but also making. It's pretty amazing. We have tracks, grass seed (well, to the north), and meth! We're so diverse.
Ooh, global thermonuclear war! I LOVE that game! Let me get out my potassium iodine pills... Mmm... +5 radiation resistance!
well I certainly hope for one or the other! god the waiting is painfull >< if it wasn't for the fact that most of the other 'nauts got the call same night/time I did then I would almost say it was a dream...

Maybe they won't announce the games at all, prior to the con, and have it be round after round of surprise. Would make for more drama, at any rate.
