anyone know a good online store to buy games on. I dislike the whole ebgames/gamestop thing, plus they suck for older games anyway if you want a new copy

i use estarland but they dont have what im lookin for right now, a copy of mgs 3 subsistance and wild arms 5. Wanna play 3 before i play 4 since i skiped it and i just totally missed wa 5 for some reason when it came out

anyone have any hidden gem sites they use that might have some slightly older games new?

Goozex is awesome for used games. Not so much for new ones, but give it a shot. Link's in my sig, there's a big thread on it somewhere else in G&T. They're giving away a free (low-value) game to new subscribers until July.

Amazon is great for older games. Occasionally you have to buy used (like when I bought Fallout 1/2), but they have a great selection.

There's the collection of the older three for thirty bucks you know?

Unless you REALLY want that second disk...

Truth be told, you probably aren't going to find a resonable deal for an old game like that unless it's used. Shop around, try ebay again and ask the seller to see the case, manual, and discs so you can be sure they're in decent enough condition.

well no dice i guess. looked everywhere around here and even drove over 30 miles to a gamestop where they said they had a new copy.. only to find that the 'new' copy was a gut... which i coulda lived with but it was a gut without either the original case OR the manual.. wtf! i hate gamestop so much

just wound up buying the anthalogy and not getting the cool extra disc with the original 2 games =(

still, surprised none of you could come up with a good online game store

If you don't buy games used then you're probably going to have trouble tracking down some older games. Particularly Wild Arms 5, since I don't think that game had a very large or sustained release. Then again, I just looked it up and it's less than a year old. Perhaps there are still some copies out there, but I bet most gaming stores online or otherwise probably don't have any pristine ungutted copies.

frys and circuit city actually are pretty good for finding older games for a box store.. circuit city not so much lately theyve seemed to cut down their game selection
