Beer+Keyboard+Summer=Frustration

So awhile back, around January or February, I spilled some beer on my keyboard. I cleaned it and got as much away from the keys as humanly possible, left it upside-down all night, etc.

So now that the hot weather has kicked in, some of my keys are getting sticky. They're not getting in the way of anything, but they're causing a ton of annoyance.

So my question is simple: How do I easily clean this up and get my keys back to normal?

Depending on the brand, you can usually open the case of the keyboard (just unscrew all the screw on the underside of the kb) and disassemble the whole thing. Inside, under the keys, should be a bunch of transparent plastic sheets patterned with some kind of circuits, laid upon a bunch of electronics. If all keys are working aside from the getting jammed part, the only part you need to detach is the frame that holds the keys (this may be the cover of the kb itself, or a separate frame inside it; sometimes it consists of multiple parts). This part generally doesn't contain any electronics, so you can safely soak it in warm water for a few minutes, then let it dry thoroughly and reassemble the keyboard.

Disclaimer: Some keyboards are difficult or impossible to disassemble.

Depending on what kind of keyboard you have (i.e. I wouldn't do this to a g15) you can put it in the dishwasher and then let it air dry for a while.
