So, Ive had a hellacious week at work and have also recently discovered that there are a few forumers who live in my area. In the interest of meeting new people and relieving my weekly stress, Im starting this new thing where every friday night I get all my friends together and we all have a drink or fifty. So this is an open invitation, anyone in the area or anyone visiting feel free to join. I think we might do a rotating bar schedule, so if you cant make it one night you might make another. This weeks is my favorite bar of all time, The Red Lion pub on Indian Rocks beach. Cheap drinks, a great selection and the best jukebox Ive ever seen(Regulars get to add their own mix cds in there) If youre in PM me and Ill give you my number and the address. Ill even buy you a drink if you make it out. The bar closes at 2 but the drinking typically just moves out to the beach from there. If youve got a suggestion for next weeks bar Im happy to hear it. I know this is short notice for everyone but Im just throwing out the open invite. Hope some of you can make it!
I didn't even know what the fuck and avitar was until about 5 minutes ago.
How far away from Disneyworld is Tampa? Because, you know, it seems like that is a better place to go if you want to throw away a lot of money to forget the bullshit of the real world.
But Fiz, if they go to Disneyworld they'll remember it. This is about forgetting about everything in a drunken rage and having a couple of hookers killing your best friend and not remembering it.

Disneys about an hours drive, but as you said it can cost quite a bit. The most this will cost is gas and 20 bucks a person. If that.

It cost me almost 40 dollars in gas for my secret DisneyHulkPAX yesterday. Then I started drinking and the bill shot through the roof

you'd like Skipper's Smokehouse over here in Tampa on Nebraska and around Bearss.
I know it's quite the drive, but thursday nights they've got Uncle John's Band playing (a Grateful Dead Tribute band)

It's only like 20 minutes, 30 at most so Its no big deal. That might just be next weeks venue!

Man, Indian Rocks Beach? That's like so far away from.. everything. What would be the point of driving half an hour or more to get wasted, then have to take a cab back? Or even a cab there. I'll just buy a bottle of bubbly and a tin of caviar instead, thanks.
So, Just got back. A good time was had by all, we drank and were merry. Then we went to the beach and now Im covered in salt and sand. Next week we will probably be in Tampa, ybor area. My buddy Joe just got an apartment down there, half a block from Crowbar if you know where that is so well be there and then pass out at his place with rock bad. Also if anyone ever comes my way youre more than welcome to crash on a couch, a bed or the floor.
