So lately whenever I play TF2, and from what I just experienced stalker, the game and sound will suddenly hang. This can take anywhere from 20 seconds to 2 minutes to recover, or sometimes just flat out crash. When I get back to the desktop, it says something along the lines of "this devices drivers failed and have successfully recovered."
So now I just tried to download the latest drivers. I downloaded the 32 bit Vista one, because thats what i'm running, and it says I'm not running 32 bit. Try 64 bit for shits and giggles, and the same thing.
So basically my system specs are
2.4 duo core
2 gigs of ram
32 bit vista
geforce 8600 GTS (I think. Its whatever card they have laptops, might be GS).
So what is the best way to fix this?
