Encryption for a Flash Drive?

So I recently bought a dinky little 2-gig flash drive to keep documents and such on. I wanted to protect some of these files since obviously a flash drive isn't very secure.

Is there a quick and easy encryption program I can load on there? I was just thinking of a small executable file that I could run from any computer (without installing) and use to open up the rest of the documents on the flash drive.

I have not tried it myself but I dug this out of my "shit I saved for miscellaneous" bookmarks.

Truecrypt is a completely free and open source encryption program you can use, for some help see this walkthrough.

Thanks. I'll give this program a try today when I'm at work.
