Yeah.. this is a UFC game, not an MMA game. The only way you'll get women is if the UFC add a women's division.

Also women's MMA is still pretty much a circus act. The top fighters can't even make weight in the biggest promotion that carries them. And it has the same problem most women's sport has to deal with - women can't compete at the same level in the top tiers of MMA and so you're generally watching an inferior brand of fighting. I'd much rather add the male Strikeforce/Bellator fighters, which would be much simpler to do, than add a female division to the game (which would be more difficult to model).

Puffy/red... we need to play so you can help me understand this game. I am good with blocking and striking standing up but once I get on the mat either on top or bottom I get screwed.

You think it's difficult to get your skills up?

The most I've ever gotten out of a sparring match is 44 points. What are you doing that gets you so many points?

Did you get the No Touch achievement already?

What's your stamina when you spar? If it's at 100 you get a 1.2x multiplier. Having non-crap sparring partners is important too, but not really in your control.

Also if you want to min/max you should max out your training before you ever spar, that way you can demolish the low-level sparring partners since you're so much stronger and faster than them, giving you extra points.

You don't need the perfect 100 stamina for the bonus, I've gotten the 1.2x multiplier when I was in the 90s.

Really, every game of almost any genre should have a replay mode. Bonus points if it's half as awesome as the one Bungie released with Halo 3 two goddamn years ago.

Yeah, apparently I was playing on experienced. I dropped it, and now I'm 19 and 0.

Fun times! And yeah, I'm playing beginner, but just for the achievement. It's really not fun now that it's all first round KO's.

Yea, that is what I did to run through those classic fights. I just want the achievements. I unlocked the videos and I enjoyed them. I don't care about recreating UFC fights. Maybe if they let me win it however I want to, but that wouldn't be recreating it now would it? Heh.

edit: Ok. Let us talk league. I haven't done anything, but I need to know how we should limit the CAF (stat wise). Can you readjust the stats once you retire in career mode? I don't think it is good for the league if some people have like a 77 overall and others have guys in the 90s. We need to figure out a way to make this fair for everyone. We could use real UFC guys (and draft by people's record in the game...worst to first), but I think that takes away from what we want here.

Let me know what you all think.

I haven't tried making a non-career CAF, but wasn't it said that if you did that, you'd be limited to 75% of what you could achieve in career? That would sound like an even number so everyone has a level playing field.

Yea, I mean I don't care which UFC guy I am. Seems like most have a great chance at winning (especially with flash KOs).

So, I want everyone to chime in before I make a decision.

    2. Which weight class do you prefer?

No blows/ submission achievement? You can get that in exhibition and set the computer to beginner. Just wrestle around with them for awhile and spin the right stick like crazy when you start your submission.

Played one match with all the Heaveyweights in exhibition. One class down, four to go. I got the ring girl watching achievement. I just skipped the intros until the ring girl part, let that play out, then kept advancing to the match.

I believe it was 30% damage over all the limbs/head/body. I thought. I thought I read that somewhere. Basically, pound the piss out of the legs, body and head and the arms won't be necessary.

Crazy question: does damaging a particular body part make it easier to submit someone if the submission attempt is on that limb? Like say you damage a guy's arm, then went for an armbar - would that submission be easier to pull off than the same thing without the injured arm?

When you're immobile on the ground, subject to a TKO, does the shine method or buttonmashing or anything make you recover any faster? Or is it just a matter of hoping the opponent's too slow to capitalize?

I think you can just jam on the buttons or rortate the right analog. I played a guy last night that I stood over, pounded for a second or two, then he was just on his back regularly and I backed away. The ref stopped the fight after the guy escaped his rocked state though, so fuck the ref.

I've only had lag in maybe 3-4 matches (they were playable) out of almost 70 matches. It is usually fine for me.
