MAN I get really emo when I get my ass kicked. I'm over it now, I hope to do battle again in the near future BlueBlue.
It was exciting! I was very apprehensive about battling you since you frequently know what you are talking about! Next time I promise to be even more cocky and probably get torn to pieces.
Edit: As I said before we started, I wasn't using my signature pokemon! In that instance, I was being literal.

You have to, like, have a copy of fire red (i think?) in the gba slot for them to appear. I'm sure someone here can maybe trade you? Maybe. I had a hell of a time finding an electirizer.
Leafgreen is what you need I believe. You plug it in and go to the grass north of Fuego Iron Works and catch some Magby. And there is only a 5% chance that they have a Magmarizer. Good luck. I had to trade some nice stuff to someone for one. Totally worth it though.
The one thing I hate about trade evolutions is that you don't get to see your Pokemon evolve. I guess you could tell the person on the other end to cancel the evolution but I'm not sure if that gets rid of the trade item or not.
Magmortar's pretty good. I'm in the process of making myself a new Arcanine to replace my first one which I discovered had a 0 Speed IV.
EDIT: Actually, I think I'll go work on him. I've got a long way to go still, even without counting finishing Emerald to replenish the items I'll consume in making him. Maybe I can fish a spare out from my old Ruby cart....
I'd recommend using Infernape, but you're planning to use a bunch of physical attackers already, and Infernapes special attack options are limited.
It's sad watching new people come into this thread all interested in getting into online fights, and then we have to go and crush them with all of the bullshit. Breeding, natures, EVs are all required and to make those things easy you need various items and Pokémon. And that shit can be hard to get on your own.
It's hard, but battling is really worth it if you can get through the annoying startup.

I'm too lazy to boot up my Diamond, but Infernape's got Grass Knot and Flamethrower/Fire Blast, and I think one other special attack. You make it a special sweeper with three special attacks and Close Combat.
Unless the meta-game has just completely been turned on its head since around December when I sort of dropped off.
I think the third special attack for infernape is "supposed" to be hp electric/ice.
The first pokemon I made for serious was my gardevoir, starting with no good parents and not a really good grasp of IVs. Anyway I had about 20 or so rare candies and so I used those to check IVs, and I used some kind of rse iv calculator. I did not know when to call it quits so he has extremely good ivs and I think it took me 2 weeks to a month. Also I did not know much about ev distributions so he got 252/252 with a macho brace, but at least speed and special attack are probably the easiest two stats.
You do the startup and then it is worth it, not the other way around!
Or do you mean you were an unstoppable force of nature and why are we always going on about these worthless ivs?
But seriously once you get the hang of it, breeding and ev training aren't so bad, considering that one consists of just moving up and down that one stretch and the other is just fighting the same guys over and over (which often is just magikarps). What I am saying is that it's not something that you have to really pay attention to and you can stop whenever thanks to the ds. Probably the most involved thing you do is figuring out what you need for egg-move chains, but it is not like everything requires egg moves.
Or do you mean you were an unstoppable force of nature and why are we always going on about these worthless ivs?
Well he did win a fight against me, but I was using some untrained pokemon I had lying around.
Also, it ended in a d/c before he officially won. and that might not have been the first time that happened to him.
this is the first time that I've actually been here when something like this happened.
What a proud moment this is for me.
sometimes it's hard to comprehend just how much porn there is on the internet.
Also, I think it's inappropriate to post real porn when there's so much pokemon porn that would have fit perfectly in this thread.
Really, that's very lazy.

What I find interesting is that her hair is in a ponytail, so I'm thinking that the rest was left there specifically as a handle.
I thought that too! I reported it for being off-topic but apparently he posted the same thing in a few other threads. It was just a drive-by!
But so does reynolds count toward your 'made quit pokemon' count?
Well, I'm certainly all in favor of you not being ahead.
That last post I had to spelling and grammar edit like 3-4 times, so looks like it's time for sleep! Next time: I lose badly to gigaton and dingus, ending my winning streak.
I don't know who that was, but that was rude of them. I did a trade with someone once and they went and checked the summary for all of my pokemon. It didn't piss me off, but it was pretty rude to do that.
People here really aren't like that usually.
As for disconnects, thats just a risk you have to be prepared for in all online games. It doesn't happen frequently though. Unless it's happening frequently, like if Nintendo is doing repairs or something, or your opponents connection is screwed up for some reason.
I hope you won't let some bad experiences sour you on the whole deal.
and i'm available for a rematch whenever you want.
Edit: You are correct Vic. Some people here imagine themselves to be above us mortals, but they have merely sold their souls to the devil to obtain this Hidden Power. They will surely succumb to madness before they can make any good use of their "gift".
Haha, I am disappointed when people don't check out the pokemon I brought along. I was trading with a serebii person once and he was all "damn that porygon has a high special atk" and I'm all HELL YEAH IT DOES and then he was all "man you should really go with hydro pump on that gyarados". =/
I suppose my guy wasn't as uneducated. He wanted to know why I had Metal Sound on my Magnezone.
I did not have a good answer. I dropped Metal Sound for Magnet Rise not to long ago.

So maybe Ill swap out Golduck for Tentacruel, use him to take a few special hits, and then I have to fill that 6th slot still....
I don't recall seeing a special wall. Was the last guy Blissey? It better not have been Blissey.
Steam ID
I could never decide which ones I liked, save for Arcanine. Is arcanine any good?
Also, fire sux lol
Magmortar is an excellent fire type. If you make a fire type you should make one of those.
Holy crap, he's got cannons for hands.
Do I just evolve a magmar, or what?

Are you kidding? Where do I get that kinda thing?
Alternatively, do any of you guys have one?
i'd need a magmar anyway....
So I plug that in and then what?
Gahhhhh cursed pokemans
SHIIIIT
Also, once i DO get one, what do I do, trade the pokemon in question or what?
Cuz if you have one, once I'm ready to evolve a magmar, you should totally hook me up with a loan.

Damnit. Now what.
True story.

I'll probably never give you another count for the people that Ink made quit.
And then said we should have a rematch, but didn't tell me they were changing their guys around until we were online. You can imagine how that ended.
So yeah, I'm not really excited about the idea of putting in hours and hours of work just to be disconnected on. Or worse.
Hidden power is the biggest bullshit. So complicated that mortal men have no hope to get any real use out of it.
People here really aren't like that usually.
