As the Wednesday workday comes to a close, thoughts turn to the road ahead. Tomorrow is Thursday, which means that by about 3:00 I'll be heading out to pick up the little woman and get on the highway to Minneapolis, hopefully make it there by midnight.
Saturday morning we leave Minneapolis behind and head to Chicago, where we will be looking for something to do that evening before turning in for an early start Sunday morning.
Sunday morning we go from Chicago to Columbus, OH. That night is the Tom Waits concert and I have like 3rd or 4th row seats in the Orchestra Pit and I couldn't be more excited. After the show it's time to start the long road home. Gotta be back at work Wednesday.
Anyone have any suggestions for stops on the way for grub or activities?
I hear Chicago has a couple decent places for a pizza. I'd love to hear about one. Also a place that won't get me shot or stabbed. I'm from smalltown Canada, your high buildings and rushing traffic scare and confuse me.
Anyone else going to be at the Columbus show? Anyone seen any of the shows so far on the Glitter and Doom tour?

Don't touch any of my stuff while you're feeding my cat.
Fucking go. Best place ever.
I'll hit her with a bottle I swear I will.
I'll send her unconcious body covered in electrical tape to my Secret Satan this year.
I'm leaving the door unlocked and covering your front steps with honey.
once unconscious, she suddenly becomes much more attractive
the electrical tape don't hurt none, either.
Or didn't until all the dudes over 35 starting telling her that they're going to shave her head to wear as a wig to get in as her. She couldn't give that ticket away if she wanted to. It's weird.
Everybody wins.
