SE++ hasn't come together for mayhem online recently

this is like the best game for it because if you can look past the fact that it isn't what you thought it would be it can be surprisingly thrilling

If you want to enjoy this game, you've got to be in it for the long haul. Like, months of training to get into the bigger ships and weapons. Then you fly with your corp mates and blow shit up. And try not to get blown up.

The Trinity expansion made everything pretty to look at too.

i played with Merch I and it was just "hey guys let's mine" 24/7. And if you try to go out to kill people you die, and then people scream at you if you die because that's apparently bad for them and not for you.

i gave EVE 20 bucks and all i got was a twenty dollar hole in my bank account.

I played, enjoyed it, got to the point where the skills I wanted were measured in weeks and I didn't have the fifteen bucks a month,. I've thought about playing again.

I'm sure it's wonderful after you've played for months and have a big spaceship and tons of money and cool abilities but you know what any game that bores you to tears en route doesn't deserve my money.

I've tried it. Like three times. With every new "expansion" the opening game is unchanged and fucking horrible and basically impassable by anyone who has other shit to do than run courier missions and shoot novice-AI drones for hours on end.

Also any game that refers to your gameplay choice as a "Career" is suspect on the outset.

Put on a web and scrambler, you'll do more good than three pimped-out cruisers in a nice fight. And your ships are effectively free.
