go to a base that has a merchi office and apply to merchi, then wait to get accepted
when you do get accepted, READ YOUR FUCKING EMAILS SERIOUSLY THEY WILL TELL YOU WHAT CHANNELS ARE FOR WHAT AND WHO TO CONTACT FOR FREE SHIT LIKE SKILLPACKS AND FREE FRIGATES
so don't worry about skipping the tutorial, just read those fucking emails instead of being all, "durr guys I got accepted now where do I get a free frigate/skillpacks/how do I register for the forum?"

you'll still have questions after reading all your emails, but if you actually read them then hopefully the questions will be about stuff that isn't addressed explicitly in the emails :P
I'm a newbie Gallente miner, I'm wondering if I should run missions and rat in .5-.6 until I have basic cruiser tackling skills (maybe a week or so), or just head over to 0.0 now?
(Also where should I go, I'm still waiting for my forum access requests to be granted.)
No, thanks. Microsoft Excel was included with my computer.
You know I don't get this at all
Like, I spend my whole day doing spreadsheets in Excel and databases in Access
motherfuckers who think EVE is a giant spreadsheet don't know what a spreadsheet is
The only thing I can think of that even looks a little like a spreadsheet is the market details tab and -- guess what! -- so do the market lists in every other game with a virtual economy.

Have you seen the custom spreadsheets that people make for market tracking in this game?

a lot of people use actual excel spreadsheets for EVE once you get into the market/business aspect of it
it's not like you need them, but it's really useful for determining profits and whether or not something is worth your time. also for keeping track of moons to determine sovereignty and stuff.
that dumb joke probably stemmed from this and then got misconstrued by hundreds of unoriginal people across the internet
so, im doing a few noob missions, and i went from literally having like 120 isk after buying a not-civvy railgun and ammo, to like 100k. after a couple more missions, i think i can upgrade to a caldari missle boat

That guy has been playing for less than two months and has helped kill at least 3 capital-class ships. Brand-new players in their racial frigates have a place on the front lines of the on-going war. After you run through the tutorial, join Mrchi, and pod out to 0.0

Eve Online is a terrible game, but I used to play, for the lulz! Steam

Also, funniest fucking shit from the goon forums: They call the rest of EVE "muggles"
actually "pubbies", "muggles" was a temporary wordfilter somebody bought
EVER
SERIOUSLY
Yeah, doesn't stop it from being funny as fuck.
Nor does it stop me from turning my nose up at empire-dwelling schmucks.

I need the prettiest fucking screenshots you can get.
Stations, ships, the actual space. Preferably as artistic as your dull minds can manage.
Hoho aren't you the comedian, with all that original material.

So will I be gimped in 0.0 with no combat skills? I'd like to at least be able kill rats.
Not sure if this hosting will work here, let me know if you can't see the pretty pictures.
